This program is here to lift some of that weight off your shoulders. Whether it's gearing up for the new school year, updating a wardrobe that no longer fits, or simply adding a couple of pieces that make your teen smile a little brighter, we're here to help. To apply or learn more about how you can benefit from this assistance, please contact our ADRC/SHIP hotline at 606-564-7084.

On November 30th, BTAAAIL hosted a Buffalo Trace Regional Caregivers Conference held at Tollesboro Christian Church. We gathered with thankful hearts to celebrate and honor our family caregivers that spread across our region. Our vision was clear; to connect caregivers to resources and to other caregivers. The connections formed, along with seeds planted of hope, support, and encouragement was inspiring. Our caregivers left with a strong feeling of community and an empowerment of knowledge to advocate for themselves and loved ones confidently. Our caregivers face many challenges and make daily sacrifices, but they tend to be the first ones to find joy in their circumstances and demonstrate resilience, love, compassion, and grace. Their stories will continue to fuel our advocacy efforts to raise awareness and support of caregiver issues.

We would like to thank all our community partners who participated, Christa O’Cull and Robin Rice as guest speakers, the Lewis Co. Health Department as a local vaccine clinic, Tortilla Junction, Foret Funny Farms and each attendee. Thank you to all our family caregivers. We see you. We respect every effort you have put forth to make each day better than the last. We are thankful for what you do, and we know your loved ones are too.

Thank you for helping us recognize November as National Family Caregivers Month.
