We encourage everyone that congregates in our TGHD churches to pray for our missionaries and faithf
Oren and Florence Munger were pioneer missionaries to Nicaragua.
Oren Munger and his wife Florence were AGWM missionaries to Nicaragua. Oren graduated from Central Bible Institute in 1941 and then spent three years in Nicaragua, fully committing himself to spreading the gospel. He taught at a Bible school and would spend his days and nights interceding for revival.
Oren’s name was the imperative form of the Spanish verb, meaning “to pray.” When he traveled to rural areas in Nicaragua, people would ask for his name, and he would respond, “Oren,” which would send inquirers away to start praying. Oren lived up to his name by regularly praying until he was exhausted.
Oren was stricken with typhoid while ministering in a remote location in March of 1945. Five months later, Oren passed away, but not before he significantly impacted the Assemblies of God Nicaragua. His passion for missions and reaching the unreached left a lasting mark in Nicaragua.
Greg has always demonstrated an amazing passion and dedication to complete the unfinished task.
Thank you Greg, you continue to be an inspiration to many of us!
Committed to the Mission A conversation with Gregory M. Mundis, who recently retired as executive director of Assemblies of God World Missions.
We are praying and believing that God will call some of those missionaries from the local churches in the Texas Gulf Hispanic District!

Today, on Pentecost Sunday, we thank God for the spectacular gift of His Holy Spirit, through whom we are sanctified, empowered, comforted and guided to live lives honoring to our Heavenly Father.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13, ESV).

“God is not concerned at first about directional or locational will. He is concerned about inner development.
So you will be the kind of person that God wants you to be, that you will go where God wants you to go and will do what God wants you to do.
But if you don’t want to be the kind of person God wants you to be, then when you get where God wants you to go, you won’t be the right person in that place.”
Dr. George O. Wood
TGHD will be praying for everyone that was affected by this earthquake.
At least five people have died, and 130 have been injured after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit the Philippines on Wednesday, according to authorities. That death toll is expected to rise as buildings are excavated.
All AGWM personnel on the ground in the Philippines have been confirmed safe.
Please join us in praying for the people of the Philippines as well as the Filipino government and the Philippines Assemblies of God as they respond to this crisis.
A tabernacle, or church structure, meets the need for a safe, permanent place to worship Jesus as a community. When this need is met, local churches grow in incredible ways.
➡️ Africa Tabernacle Evangelism partners with the national church in many countries around the continent to help equip local churches with their own place of worship where they can share the gospel, see the lost saved, and make disciples.
➡️ One way Africa Tabernacle Evangelism is keeping up with the demand for structures is by establishing local factories, partnered with the local church. Eventually we imagine these local factories being the primary means of supplying tabernacles as churches are planted.
Our Vision: A healthy church within walking distance of every African... 🧡
What a joy to have spent time today with these men of God that are passionate about missions!

It was amazing too, that Sis. Maricela Hernández was asked to preach the opening service for this week.
This week, as well as last week, are historic and unforgettable for our district.
Now we ask all of the churches in the Texas Gulf Hispanic District to support you with prayer and a monthly pledge.
We continue praying that God raise up more missionaries from our district to the nations!

Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Psalms 96:2-3 (NLT)
Salmo 96:2–3
Canten al SEÑOR, alaben su nombre; anuncien día tras día su victoria. Proclamen su gloria entre las naciones, sus maravillas entre todos los pueblos.

Mari and I would like to share some exciting news with you. We were asked by the AGWM Executive Committee to serve as Ethnic Networks Coordinators within AGWM Partnership Development. After much prayer and consideration, we have accepted and will begin this role in February 2022. In this new assignment, we will partner with 43 Language Districts and Ethnic Fellowships in the U.S Assemblies of God, helping them raise missions awareness, and send and support missionaries to establish the Church among all peoples everywhere.
We will remain appointed Latin America Caribbean missionaries and raise our own budget. We will continue to lead and serve the regional training ministries currently headquartered in Panama. We will stay connected with our national church leaders and educators as we help them train and mobilize new ministers. Yet, the new assignment requires us to base primarily in the U.S.
This new year begins with excitement and expectancy. We are believing and trusting the Lord that great days are ahead. Thank you so much for partnering with us and praying for us. Together we continue to make a difference in the lives of so many people!
TONGA UPDATE: Thank you for praying for those in Tonga. AGWM’s Pacific Oceania area director has made contact with the Tonga Assemblies of God. The need is great, and there will be opportunities to support the church in Tonga. We encourage you to keep praying and to stay tuned for more information.
