Today we started moving a client from one office to another. we moved their phone system and ran wires to new office spaces.
Another client needed help accessing cameras in their warehouse from their corporate office. Used nvr website with registration code.

Friday November 18th.
We ran wire in 2 buildings for network and telephone.
Cross connected patch panels and terminated the wall plates. We also mounted TV s and his the wire behind raceways. We hid the DVR s behind the TV s.
Thursday November 17th we got a call about a computer that would not boot. We wound up reinstalling windows and setting up the computer for use.
At another location we started running wires and activated phone extensions.
Checked an All in One of with screen that has a dark spot. We ordered a replacement.
Ended the day by creating a user on an Active Directory and set them up on a work station.
Last Wednesday. A computer, serving as host, was stuck in public mode after a power outage. The other computers were blocked from accessing the host application. The usual switch was not available so I used a work around in which I activated network discovery. The system prompted me to approve activating it in public mode or switching to private mode. I was able to switch it to public mode and the host was no longer blocked.
At another location we removed McAfee, activated Windows Defender, and made sure it was up to date. Also installed Office 365.
Then ended the day repairing a software error by removing it, clearing temp files and unnecessary registry entries then reinstalling the program.

Pics from last week. New computer setup. Backup files and restore on new system. Installed and created backup plan using WD Software from a network storage device.
At another office we replaced a computer with one that we upgraded. Backup and restore files. Installed quickbooks and updated the databases. Installed printer. We also ran 2 wires to a show case.
Ended day upgrading a computer. We replaced the hdd with an ssd and added 16gb of ram. I installed and activated Windows 10.
Pictures from Friday. Upgraded 3 computers with 16gb of ram, a solid state drive, and latest version of Windows 10. Delivered them and set them up in 2 offices. New setup in one office and the other office I transferred their files and programs. Setup scanning and printing too.

Computer crashed. I am saving the data then reloading windows and restoring the data. When done I will be returning the computer, adding it back to the active directory and installing programs, scanner, and printers.
