PSJA ISD Child Nutrition Program introduces organic options to student menus

Starting in October, the PSJA Child Nutrition Program (CNP) will be introducing organic fruits and vegetables to the school menus across all 44 campuses.

As part of their ongoing commitment to providing nutritious meals that fuel student success, the PSJA CNP has taken steps to incorporate organic produce options, sourced from local farms, into the lunch offerings.

Thanks to an $85,000 grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Local Food for Schools grant program, the PSJA CNP is able to promote healthier eating habits, support local agriculture, and ensure that students have access to the freshest and most nutritious produce available.

Mission CISD proudly joined the City of Mission for the Mission to End Childhood Cancer Walk, rallying the community against childhood cancer. 💪💛🎗️

Participants "Went Gold" to raise awareness and show their support for this important cause.

A special highlight of the evening was the participation of various Mission CISD student groups, who demonstrated their commitment to making a difference. Their energy and enthusiasm added to the event’s success, further showcasing the district’s dedication to community engagement and important causes.
