This National Grief Awareness Day on August 30 is dedicated to raising awareness of the myriad ways in which individuals cope with loss. It offers resources to those going through personal losses and reminds us to support people we know who are grieving. We have the resources here at Med-Care EMS for the community as well as all 1st responders help to a path to healthy grievance.

MedCare EMS is proud to share the success story of our Rapid Blood Transfusion Program in an emergency situation. Our team, made up of Cesar Hinojosa EMT-A and Rudy Martinez EMT-B, expertly identified the need for an immediate blood transfusion. With the patient in a critical state, exhibiting severe blood loss, our team activated FTO Jose A. Flores EMT-P, who rapidly provided the necessary blood transfusion, thereby ensuring the patient's vital organs along with delivering exceptional patient care.
