Latest review: We loved our stay in the huckleberry hideaway. It had plenty of room for our family of 4 and two friends. It had everything we needed. We walked down to the beach to see the fireworks and it was absolutely stunning.

Time to pick Morel mushrooms in McCall! For the Boise National Forest, mushrooms emerge in the spring when moisture and temperature conditions are right, generally starting in early May and extending through early June. Most often the best location for mushrooms is in areas that were burned or the soil was disturbed the previous year. Sometimes there are mushrooms found two-three years after the burn, although usually the first year is the optimal season.
