Don’t forget to get your tickets to Junior Culinary School with July 25th! Chef Cam began doing these classes for young chefs and is now bringing them to the ! Open to ages 8 and up, students will learn about the farm our corn comes from, how to make fresh tortillas, how to render pork fat, knife cuts of the produce they will be using on their tortillas, and many other topics! At the end, the class will enjoy a meal together in the dining room and use the produce they cut to make their tacos!

If you’re a parent needing an afternoon to yourself, it’s a perfect opportunity for you! Chef Cam’s two boys are 11 and 12 and they will be there at the class as well so there’s plenty of company!

Some of you may know our Chef De Cuisine of Gezzo’s Cantina Atlanta as Jhon, but we call him “Pappa Jhon”! Did you know, at our Atlanta location, our Solola Breakfast plate was named for one of our prep chefs, Miguelito? Solola is his home town in Guatemala and would watch him make this plate every morning for breakfast but with quick scrambled eggs.
