In recent months, the U.S. has experienced multiple extreme weather events. Thousands continue to be without water, power and limited access to food.

Through the Employee Care Fund, we've been able to activate emergency grants to hundreds of Invited Employees (more than $330K in 2024) and the Fund continues to support with more substantial financial assistance through the standard application process, helping Employees rebuild after these natural disasters.

We've also seen heroic efforts displayed by hundreds of organizations and volunteers, including teams from our Brier Creek and Hasentree Clubs who collected donations filling 30 planes and helicopters with supplies for families in need. Supply drops have successfully reached remote areas in western North Carolina cut off by washed-out roads, delivering hundreds of thousands of pounds of essential supplies.

Congratulations to our five executive chefs for qualifying to be finalists for the Chef of the Year competition at Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic this week! We look forward to all the culinary challenges and island excursions at Casa de Campo.

Golf Digest highlights the top rising stars under 40 each year, and Cliff has earned this honor consecutively since 2021. We couldn’t be more proud and grateful for his dedication and talent. Way to go, Cliff!

After a week of exciting competition in Pebble Beach, Daniel Ferguson is one of the junior winners of the 2024 PURE Insurance Championship impacting First Tee, an official PGA TOUR Champions event, which concluded Sunday. Daniel is a Gateway Club Member at Hackberry Country Club in Dallas, TX.

Adrienne Ahn finished in second place at the tournament and is a Gateway Club Member at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, TX.

The Violet Crown 👑 🍸

Born at in Austin, TX; Channing Fawcett is the curator behind this magical cocktail made with Indigo Gin.

The Violet Crown was the #1 most ordered cocktail across all which means Channing will receive a complimentary trip to the 2024 Food and Wine Festival to represent Westlake Country Club at the event.

It all started at The PLAYERS Championship. Two years later, Queen's Harbour Member, PJ Isnardi reunites with Jordan Spieth at the Crush It! Cup.

Our PGA Jr. League All-Star team at Diamond Run Golf Club (Pittsburgh, PA) won its Regional Championship in upstate NY last week to qualify for the National Championship at Fields Ranch West PGA Frisco 10/8-10/13.

Team Diamond Run won its league this year and Diamond Run Head Golf Professional, Adam Morrison, and 1st Assistant Golf Professional, Tanner Houser have been coaching the league's All-Star team. The team consists of 4 Diamond Run Members, 1 Firestone Member, and 3 junior all-stars from neighboring Clubs. They will be playing under the "Team Pennsylvania" flag and the matches are scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN.

Shyla Brown, a 15-year-old Black teen from McKinney, Texas, is making history as the youngest African-American Junior Golf Champion. She recently became among the only four nationally ranked high school golfers selected to compete in the prestigious Southwest Airlines Showcase at Cedar Crest.

Discovering her love for golf at the age of 8, Brown followed in the footsteps of her parents who were also avid players. Brown told WFAA, “You know when you’re that young, you kind of take up what your parents are doing. I found it enjoyable.”

The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch is hosting its 17th annual Charity Classic, benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County and the Invited Employee Care Foundation.

Every year, our Charity Classic event brings the McKinney community together to support local charities, and we want you to be a part of it! Plus, this is the only event where non-members can play the famous Pete Dye course at SBR!
