Last night's opening night of "The Little Prince Explores the Universe" is what live theatre is all about! With an outdoor performance and the rain coming on and off and storms in the forecast, the kids had to wait to find out when the show was going to start, and then had to work through challenges like - not using microphones or a sound system, and navigating a wet outdoor stage. They did SUCH a good job!

There's one more night to see them do their thing...in the sun! Come out tonight to see The Little Prince himself (picture) and a sweet, hilarious cast of young homeschoolers and enjoy entertainment, concessions, crafts and fun. Show is at 6:30 tonight (Saturday May 25) and livestreamed anywhere. Tickets available for donation of any amount:

Performed at RPL's Outdoor Theatre, doors open at 6:00 so you can grab your seat (bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets!), get a snack at our concessions area, see the Library and the Fairy Garden, and check out our Spring Fundraisers: the StoryStones Path and the Shooting Stars Installation! The performance of the musical will begin at 6:30 and will include an extended intermission including snacks and a Kids' Craft activity.

Calling theatrical teens with a spooky side....this Friday's FREE Teen workshop will introduce choreography/staging for the iconic "Dream Sequence" in the cemetery from Fiddler on the Roof.

RPL's rose bushes have been in full beauty the past few days! In our Early Childhood Program, "Wee Play Love" we visited the various rose bushes and made pipe cleaner roses! What a beautiful sight!
