Our new decision-support tools apply , data analytics and modeling, and remote sensing to help fire professionals predict and mitigate their spread—and protect lives and property.

New AI Tools Assist in Fighting Fires Intensified by Climate Change | MITRE MITRE used artificial intelligence, modeling, and remote aerial sensing to create two unique wildfire mitigation tools. Our researchers collaborated with firefighters on the ground to develop complementary data-driven capabilities to help augment human efforts to battle disastrous blazes.
