We offer something special for babies through teenagers. Let us assist you with any library needs! All areas in the library are open for browsing for books.
The Peters Township Public Library is open for in-person services at this time. You may check out materials inside the library at the main desk on the 1st floor. There are no fines for overdue materials. The public computers are available at this time. The daily book sale is available, and we are accepting book donations. Virtual and in-person programming for all ages is being offered.

We're hiring! PTPL is seeking a high school student for the position of Library Page. This is a part time position with flexible hours, working approximately 6 β 8 hours per week. Duties include sorting, organizing, and shelving library materials. Other tasks will be assigned as needed. Applicants must be age 16 or older. This position pays $11 per hour. Start date is the first week of August.
Interested applicants must send a completed Peters Township employment application to Lacey Love, Library Director, at 616 E McMurray Rd, McMurray, PA 15317 or [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, July 17. Applications can be found at ptlib.org/page.
There are still seats available for next week's Book Babies storytime! In this 20 minute lap-sit program for ages birth to 15 months, babies will begin to gain contact with language through stories, songs, rhymes, and finger plays.
