Join us at this free event and get up close and personal with some of your favorite “big rigs.” Adults love this event as much as the kids! We're hiring! PTPL is seeking a high school student for the position of Library Page. This is a part time position with flexible hours, working approximately 6 – 8 hours per week. Duties include sorting, organizing, and shelving library materials. Other tasks will be assigned as needed. Applicants must be age 16 or older. This position pays $11 per hour. Start date is the first week of August.

Interested applicants must send a completed Peters Township employment application to Lacey Love, Library Director, at 616 E McMurray Rd, McMurray, PA 15317 or [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, July 17. Applications can be found at ptlib.org/page.

There are still seats available for next week's Book Babies storytime! In this 20 minute lap-sit program for ages birth to 15 months, babies will begin to gain contact with language through stories, songs, rhymes, and finger plays. Sarah is a Peters Township resident; she and her husband have four active kids, ranging from ages 5 to 10, who are also avid library-goers. A former high school lacrosse coach, Sarah will be focusing on teen and tween programming. She brings more than a decade of experience working with teens to her new position and is excited to get to know you and your kids!
