Life is good…even when you didn’t get the green pea harvest that you had hoped for. But, look at today’s harvest and them strawberries are still showing off. Tomatoes and peppers are doing great and are starting to ripen.

The Little Shops are closed today and tomorrow and will reopen next Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Happy 4th!

Early morning visitor…my daddy came to see what he could find for his dinner. He left saying, “I got more than I thought” and I think he enjoyed his garden tour. Happy Sunday!

The morning harvest! One of the tomatoes was starting to split, so I took it…but 9 strawberries from this 3-year old plant. Yay!

I just came in from the garden and look at today’s harvest. You see that tomato in the background…beginning to blush and that cabbage is looking pretty good.

Gladiolus also known as sword lilies, has many spiritual meanings and some of them are: Remembrance, Strength and Integrity, Calmness, Perseverance and Infatuation. I’ve just spent almost an hour reading more about gladiolus and found the research quite interesting. I see why mama loved them and I am so thankful that she helped me start this flower garden. What special memories…

Happy Friday from The Shop! Check out last night’s garden harvest. For the first time ever, I’m trying to dehydrate herbs. Anybody have any tips or suggestions? And, the first gladiolus is in bloom.

Hello, hello, hello! Y’all it been a minute and we’ve had a break from social media, but we definitely been in the yard trying to grow food and flowers. We have been honored to complete your custom orders and even helped some of you plan your summer trips. All of these things excite me and I look forward to sharing more about what’s going on over here. I can tell you that over the next couple of weeks, we will be wrapping up summer decor and moving into fall and dare I say Christmas…but they are coming! Anyway, good to see y’all….

We’re remembering and honoring…Happy Memorial Day.

I don’t know what’s for dinner yet, but you can best believe that I’m adding my first lettuce harvest to the menu.

Hello! It’s been a while and I hope you are doing just fine. Y’all know I love a good challenge and before my last trip, a new customer stopped by The Shop and asked if I did ribbon corsages? I never had but told her to let me research what it entails. I picked up supplies yesterday and ready to show her samples today.

Thanks everyone for FOLLOWING and SUPPORTING my small business, I really appreciate each of you. It was definitely a good time away, but I’m happy to be home. First thing I did was walk around the yard to see my garden/flower spaces and I look forward to working outside and watching everything continue to grow. We’re back in The Shop next week and hope to see you soon.

Tomorrow is a sea day with us arriving back in Miami on Saturday and then a quick flight home. See y’all Saturday!

A relaxing day in The Cayman Islands. Who’s ready for vacation?

Thank you all for the well wishes…it has definitely been a great day and full of new memories. While I don’t have pictures from the bobsled, it was so much fun and did not disappoint.

Welcome to Ocho Rios, Jamaica! We’re on a bus headed up to the mountains to do some bobsledding. Our instructions are “to ride it like we stole it”.

It’s about that time, “Let’s go sailing”!

What a Blessed, busy and productive week we’ve had. I’ve got all types of projects going on, but never too busy to create a wreath or two. Check out Ms. Red, White and Blue, just in time for Memorial Day and you can leave her hanging as the 4th of July is fast approaching. She’s in The Shop and looking for a forever home.
