It's a great day to Go Red for Women! A group of OSS Health employees from all across our organization attended American Heart Association - Pennsylvania annual luncheon held today. OSS Health is proud to be an ongoing sponsor of the Go Red for Women initiative as it strives to educate women on their risk for heart disease and the actions that can help to reduce this common health threat. Proceeds from the event, which included a silent auction, will go towards this important mission.

It may be Hand Therapy Week, but OSS Health recognizes the hard work and dedication of our hand therapists every day. Knowing that no two patients are the same, the physicians and therapists at OSS Health seek to regain strength and restore function by providing individualized care. Sometimes that involves making custom dynamic splints, as shown in the photo below. Dynamic splints increase range of motion and function by applying a low-load prolonged stretch to the targeted joint.
