**Waterloo Games** will be hosting casual tournament events that will welcome new players and returning 'Scapers!

**On Saturday 9/21/24 at 11am**, come out and play a casual **FREE **event and learn the ropes and play with the new **Age of Annihilation** maps and army units.

Here is what you can expect:

--Please create an account with Battle Network https://playheroscape.renegadegamestudios.com/ and click Login at the top right of the site, Click Sign Up.
--We will use **Age of Annihilation** units and maps for this casual event. This will be supplied from the store.
--A 1v1 demo map will be made available to teach new players the basics of the game.
--Learn the basic game to learn how to play and/or play the master game with additional rules and open up the possibilities of your army!
--Another battlefield map will be available to flex your muscles and dive deeper into the game.
----You will be able to select or Draft a 300pt army from units available.
--**Any Heroscape purchases during events will have a 10% discount.**

IMPERIAL AGENTS…better late than never, right? Now in at Waterloo Games in Mechanicsville.

Heroscape…it’s back and bigger and better than ever…come get some!

You've asked for it...we finally have the time to make it happen...it's FLEA MARKET TIME!! Waterloo Games will host the first Miniatures Swap Meet at our new location on Saturday October 12th. All tables will be inside the shop, so rain or shine makes no difference! Doors open at 10am, we will get there at 9am to give sellers one hour to set up. End of the swap meet will be 3pm...we still want to allow gaming later in the day. Cost will be $10 for a 4ftx4ft, $15 for a 6ft banquet table, and $20 for an 8ft banquet table; payment is required in advance to reserve a space. Purchasing directly is permitted; I've always felt kind of dirty making you pay as shop gift cards...but of course we hope you'll spend some money on new gaming stuff. Items for sale must be TCG, board game, or miniatures related and can include game room decoration stuff...posters, cool wall hangings...but excludes anything like hate-crime stuff, things too large to be displayed on the swap meet table, live animals, working fi****ms, knives or sharp-edged weapons, captives from strange lands, or stuff we currently sell in the shop. All items subject to approval by the management; rules can be modified at our discretion at any time.

3RD ANNUAL TAVERN BRAWL for Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game will be held at Waterloo Games in Mechanicsville VA!

Event date: Saturday September 21st 2024
Doors Open: 9:30 am
Event Start Time: 10am
$15 entry fee

The schedule will be six 45-minute games.
Force composition: 300 points, no Heroes above 100 points. Question: Can I take a hero at 90 points, give them a horse, and armor that would put them at over 100 points? No.
Can I take a hero that is under 100 points, give them a horse and other war gear that would put them at 100 points? Yes.
Siege Engines are banned as well.
Models are not required to be fully painted. Scenarios will be announced the day of, 1 taken from each pool.
Schedule:
-Game 1: 10-10:45,
-Game 2: 11-11:45
-Lunch break: 11:45-12:45
-Game 3: 1-1:45
-Game 4: 2-2:45
-Game 5: 3-3:45
-Game 6: 4-4:45
-Awards: 5pm
Prize Support: Store credit and trophies awarded to the top 3 players and other awards.
