To our amazing Maggie Moose community,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Maggie Moose Bakery will be winding down over the next few weeks. After much consideration and a thorough evaluation of our personal and professional lives, we have made the difficult decision to close.

Running a small business like ours has been a labor of love, and passion but it has also taken a significant toll on our personal relationships, mental health, and overall well-being. Running a well oiled bakery like ours is not for the faint of heart. There are so many rewarding aspects but there are also so many struggles involved in running a bakery like ours, and the constant pressure to keep up with ever increasing food and goods costs have made it nearly impossible to function for us to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Additionally, our personal circumstances have changed, and we are now prioritizing our family and individual needs during this time as we opened as a family business and our number one priority will always remain our family relationships first, business second. We have come to realize that the financial rewards this business has offered do not align with our personal quality of life and we know we had to make some hard choices that support our overall well-being first and foremost.

We are grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown us over the past few years, and we are proud of the memories we've created together. We will always cherish the time we had to share our passion with this amazing community.

We want to thank our anazing team who have already been notified of our decision to close. Without them, we would not have been able to bring Maggie Moose to life. We appreciate each and every one of them and will miss them more than I can adequately attempt to put into words.

To our customers, our followers, our cheerleaders, our supporters, Thank you for brightening our days. When you have to come in everyday to bake before the rest of the world seems to be up and you are greeted as soon as you open by your smiling faces, it made every moment worth the crazy ride. Thank you for supporting our little local business.

Life happens, things change and all you can do is adapt.
While we didn’t anticipate this when we started, and while this decision was not made lightly, we know, for us, for our family, it is the right decision.

We will remain open over the next few weeks. We will announce a final close date as we get closer but anticipate we will be wrapped up by the end of September. We will honor all gift cards our customers have until our final farewell.
All orders that have been placed will be fulfilled , you dont need to worry about that at all!
We will be selling our displays but please don’t ask for pricing at the present time. Please check back to our page as we post and make them available. Please do not inquire until the items are posted. We wont be holding items. Everything will be on a first come basis when it comes to selling our displays and fixtures. Again, we will post as things become available.

Closing a business is a very tedious process. It can be overwhelming as well, so we request that when you come in over the next few weeks, we keep it positive and look on the bright side, because there definitely is always a bright side! That’s the foundation of Maggie Moose! We encourage you to get your donut fill while you still can and please, make sure you take your photo by the moose wall while you still can!

For now, we are operating as normal. Should our hours change, you’ll be the first to be notified right here in our page, but for now, it’s business as usual!
