Deer Recovery - Tracking Dog for Deer in Wisconsin

Giant alert!! Izzy may have found her 2nd 200 inch deer! The hunter lost blood at a corn field and called us. We showed up in a snowstorm and Izzy quickly worked across the field and into the woods and on to this giant. Shot was very far back. Congratulations to the hunter and Izzy was amazing as always.

Amazing Izzy does it again. She made quick work of this 471 yd track. Deer was hit in shoulder then arrow ricochet into guts. Congratulations to the hunter!

Showed up at 21 hours after the shot and she quickly worked through a grid search made by the hunter this morning and we were on this buck in minutes. Congratulations to the hunter and Izzy continues to be unbelievable!

The rut is starting and izzy is so excited she cant sit still. Shes dialed in this year!

I know we said we were done for the year, but we got a local call last night that they didn't have much blood and lost it in the snow storm. We showed up today at over 20 hours and were able to get on this nice buck that was hit far back. Congratulations to the hunter!

Two inches of snow over the trail was no issue for Izzy. She made quick work of this track. This will be her final track of 2022 as we don't track in rifle. She had an amazing year!

After a crazy busy week of putting deer on tailgates we ended the week with this find. In very high winds (20-30mph) I was worried about the scent trail. We picked up were the hunter lost blood and she pushed 926 yards tracking fast and hard on a great scent trail. We then reached a neigbor property we couldn't cross so we headed North down the property line and not 50 yards later she started alerting of a dead deer. We continued down the property line and back to last blood and then cut down wind and 319 yards later we were standing over this buck. From where she alerted of a dead deer and where we found him was within 50 yards.

Izzy got the week started out right with this 526 yd gut shot track. She was on fire and did the track in roughly 10 minutes. The hunter backed out last night and kept the trail fresh. That makes it much easier and the deer goes only a fraction of the distance compared to if you push them. Congratulations to the hunter!

It was a long drive this morning to be part of history. Over 100 miles each way to help find this potential state record buck. The track was just over 1.6 miles. Congratulations to this hunter on his amazing buck! I'm glad Izzy was able to be part of it.

Izzy had a challenging track tonight. The deer only bled pin drops worth of blood for the first 150 yds and went in a different direction than the hunter thought. Then the last few hundred yards there was no noticeable blood at all.
