The Medford Police Patrolmen's Association remembers our dear friend, Peter "Taki" Koleas, who passed away earlier this week. Taki was owner of Demet's Donuts on Mystic Avenue and over the last 35 years made the family owned coffee shop one the the best neighborhood gathering spots in the City. Demet's is the coffee shop where everybody knows your name and feels welcome.

Thank you Taki for always making us feel welcome and giving us a place to conduct Union business. We will miss you. Rest In Peace friend.
