4Oceans is doing an amazing job cleaning up global waters. The rest of us need to be better consumers that don't dispose of our plastics and trash in the waterways. Next time you make a purchase think about where it will end up.

Check out Destiny Farm in Medina at 3821 Granger Road. They have a great farm store with local beef for sale and other Medina raised items. I am going to be stocking up for winter. They are having a special drawing for pork. Tickets are on sale and benefit Feeding Medina County. Stop in and tell them Santa recommended their farm.
Adding some fish to take care of algae. Hope the yellow perch are enjoying the red wigler worms.
Yellow perch adapting to their new environment.
Fish are coming soon. In the meantime roots are growing nicely. Herbs didn't germinate.

Medina Creative Produce is a beautiful place to see in action. The fish will be arriving soon.
Seeds are sprouting. Fish are swimming.
Mission accomplished. Medina Creative Farming is back in action. Crops are planted. Good luck my friends and thank you Cody, Tim and Diana for the opportunity.
After a trip to the manufacturer's plant in Lodi, we have the tank repaired with the right fitting. Now we need to replace the air line as the tank rotated when the bulkhead fitting was installed. Since we never did this before we learned a few things today.
My challenge today is to repair the bulkhead fitting. The original cracked due to water freezing in the elbow and splitting the bulkhead pipe. I found what I thought was the right fitting only to fine the outside diameter was larger due to wall thickness.
Getting ready for spring!
The next project is to get this up and running at Medina Creative Housing. A few adjustments need to be made.
A beautiful crop at Medina Creative Housing. Cody and his crew are busy. Please support them at the farmers' market on the square Saturdays.
The beans are coming. - this summer share your bounty with the food bank.

The five fish that surprised me at the bottom of the tank are doing well. Their new temporary home is being prepared. (Water temperature is being equalized with original tank.)
Ron, Please have your helpers take all the beans and lettuce this week.
While draining the tank this evening 4 fish were discovered still swimming around. Tomorrow they are being transfered to a new temporary home. Going to add a new bio filter and air bubbler and clean the tank. The lettuce that is growing in the beds will be harvested and donated tomorrow. The beans in the greenhouse are also being harvested this week along with the tomatoes.
Sad news: The fish made to much ammonia and the plants couldn't handle it fast enough. Fish are now fertilizer. Lesson learned: Have better established plants and fewer fish in tank. Going to let the lettuce and spinach continue growing and will clean tank and rework siphons on grow beds to work better.
Yesterday, there was a little problem. Lost 2/3rds of the water in the tank. One of the grow bed tanks decided to deform just enough to leak water on the wrong side. Needless to say the fish were refreshed to have cooler water added to the tank. They are happy now. Tonight adjustments were made to the piping and the long spray bars were eliminated. The system is much simpler and is not clogging up with algae.
