Our market shopping community is amazing! Man, it was SO hot out today, but you wouldn’t know given the crowds of guests who braved the heat! Many of our vendors commented how they were so grateful to see their regular customers today. Thank you all so much! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The Ohio SFMNP (senior farmers market nutrition program) will move to an electronic system of benefit distribution and redemption. This new process might be a little overwhelming, but we don’t want that to stop any eligible seniors from applying for the coupons. Today’s farmers market, kids day & teen fest was amazing!! Thank you to everyone involved - and there are SO many. You would think with having so many moving parts, I would end the day not liking people. lol. I have to say (and this is why I do what I do) these are the days that end up giving me the drive to continue. I get to see these amazing glimpses of this community that I know are SO special. People showing kindness, patience and understanding - all to help in their way to make this a great day for the youth in our community! Bonus: seeing all those MIST soccer players from other communities was bonus because they got a chance to experience the heart of Medina & why it is so great! What I love most is how this is truly a family affair - my mom came to fill in as a volunteer almost the whole day. Way to go, mom! Thank you to everyone!

The Safety Cone Scavenger Hunt takes you to the businesses surrounding the square to find safety cones. Stop by the Main Street Medina tent for details. The Farmers Market scavenger hunt sends you through the booths of the Farmers Market to find selected items. Visit the Farmers Market tent to get your scavenger hunt sheet. Goosechase Scavenger Hunt is an app for your phone. It is a serios of interactive "missions" to complete to earn points. We launch the Medina Farmers Market next Saturday, June 1 at the Medina Square from 9a-1pm. Pre-orders welcome. (Especially if you need an alternate milk.) We commonly use Almond milk but can accommodate vegan and oat milk needs!
