You can now sign up for our next two events at Strokers Bar & Billiards in Pelham, NH on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 and an added event at Yale Billiards to be held in conjunction with our 1st Juniors event on Sunday, January 28th, 2024!!!

January 13, 2024- Strokers Bar & Billiards
This event will be a single bracket with a max Fargo limit of 685. We will be using Fargo R5 medium races on the winners side and Fargo R4 medium races on the one loss side. The deadline for pre-registration for this event is Thursday, January 11th at 7:00 PM! This event is limited to 32 Players. You can pre-register on the website or Venmo me (-Dionne-3). We will also be taking in person registrations the day of the tournament as long as the field is not filled before, however there will be an additional $10.00 fee. Hi Everyone,
I made a mistake and forget to add a team that paid back in November so we now have 33 teams. I apologize, sometimes it's hard to keep track of entries when I'm receiving them from multiple places. (Venmo, PayPal, and website) This does not mean we are opening up the field for more teams, I guess the good part is there will be more in the prize fund! I have updated the team list. I'm sorry if I upset anyone.

Hi Everyone, We have a full field of 32 teams for our Partners Event this Sunday at The Nest!!! We want to thank everyone for coming back and supporting the tour and go over a few things to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Doors will open at 8:00AM, the players auction will start at 9:30AM and matches will start immediately after the auction.
- We have decided for this event we will relax the dress code slightly, you may wear t-shirts as long as they are clean and look presentable!
- We only have 10 tables and 32 teams so we need to keep everything moving, we will have the live brackets on Compu Sport, you can sign up through their app to receive match notifications and view brackets. We will be enforcing our 15 minute rule. (If you are not at the table 5 minutes after your match is called you forfeit one game, after 10 minutes you will forfeit another game and after 15 minutes you will forfeit your match) I really don't want to forfeit anyone but it's extremely important we keep things moving because The Nest closes at 11:30PM and I want to be able to finish!
- Attached to this post is the rules and Team list with Fargos, please remember we locked everyone's Fargo in when they signed up so there may be teams that are now over the 1150 limit.

We have been getting alot of interest in our partners tournaments and you are now able to sign up for our first partners event of this season being held on Sunday, December 10th at The Nest in Plaistow, NH!
The combined Fargo limit for this tournament is 1150 with NO BUFFER!!! We will be locking in the Fargo Rates when you sign up and pay. Messaging me and telling me that you are in does not put you in the tournament or lock in any Fargo rates, you will not be locked in until you are paid!
If either player does not have an established Fargo (with at least a 200 game robustness), you MUST reach out to me before signing up to determine what the unestablished players fargo will be and if you fall within the limit.
We will be limiting this tournament to 32 teams and will be taking entries on the day of the tournament as long as it's not sold out. Please note there will be an additional $10.00 fee per person for any teams that pay at the door.
Also please don't forget BOTH players must be a tour members OR purchase a day pass. If a tour membership or day pass is needed for both players, one can be purchased with the tournament entry and one can be added to the cart separately.

Tournament Format
This tournament will be one single bracket, Double Elimination Winner Breaks, Race to your handicap (Fargo R6 medium races on the winners side and Fargo R5 medium races on the one loss side), Call the 9-ball and
we will be using the Outsville Accu-Rack with the 1 ball racked on the spot and the 2 ball in the back.

If you are unable to sign up with Joey today, we will be taking sign ups tommorow as well. Hello everyone we are less than a week away from the newengland9ballseries return. We have been away for 2 years, we're very excited to see everyone again. We are hoping that we can have everyone,s suport. Our first event will be this Sunday at the brand new straight shooters in Fall River Massachusetts. Those who are new to our tour we run a handicap fargo rated tour. We split the brackets a upper bracket, a lower bracket. The split will be determined on how many players we have, we take the fargos split them down the middle. This is a very fair way I think anyway. We will be using a R6 medium on the winners side and a R5 medium on the one loss of both brackets. The brackets will combine at 4th place. After a two-year hiatus, The New England 9 Ball Series is pleased to announce the 2023-2024 season!

This season will run from October 15, 2023- September 22, 2024. It will comprise 10 regular tour stop events and, for the first time in tour history, 5 Junior State Championships. Please join us in welcoming our new sponsors Roy Pastor of the Billiard Education Foundation and Chris Ouimette of Cue Pocket, LLC.

The regular tour stop events will be a mixture of disciplines; handicapped and unhandicapped events; and singles and partners. The formats for each tournament will be indicated on the website and the tournament flyers..

The junior events, for players aged 8-18, will be unhandicapped 10-Ball. Junior State Championships will be held in CT, MA, ME, NH, and RI. Each event will have 2 brackets. The winner will receive entry to the Junior National Championship being held July 8-13 in Quincy, IL.

The entry fee for all events is $50. Yearly tour membership has been reduced to $30 and is waived for anyone competing in Junior State Championships.

For all regular season events the registration deadline will be 7pm on the Thursday prior to the event. We will no longer require pre-payment, however there will be an additional $10.00 fee for entries paid in person.

It is with great sadness we announce that, due to health reasons, The New England 9 Ball Series is cancelling the remainder of the 2022 regular season events and not scheduling a 2023 season. As of now we are still planning to hold the 2022 Season Tour Championship.



As most of you are aware Jennifer had complications during treatment of Covid-19. She is scheduled for 2 surgeries over the next few months and continues to have a weakened immune system. As much as I love the tour and all the players, I love Jennifer more and my top priority is to take of her.



We are tentatively planning to have the Tour Championship in early 2023 as a one-day event, limited to 48 players. We are still negotiating with venues and sponsors. As soon as we have a date, location, and added money we will post the information.



We really want to thank all the players, fans, venues, and sponsors that allowed the New England 9 Ball Series to serve the players of the New England area over the past 20 years. It is our sincere hope that Jennifer will make a full recovery and we will be able to restart the tour. Despite all the negative comments and difficulties negotiating with venues and vendors, we truly enjoyed running this tour and will miss everyone.

You can now sign up for our Summer Sizzler tournament being held at Snookers in Providence, RI on Sunday, August 14th, 2022! We are limiting this event to 48 players and its first come first serve. We will not be holding spots! To guarantee a spot please sign up and pay through the website. We will be taking in person registrations the day of the event if the field is not full. No Early 9 Balls, Winner Breaks, Cue Ball Fouls Only, Split Brackets

No soft breaking, you must make a genuine effort to strike the balls with force.

Bracket Split- The bracket split will be determined once all registrations have been received. We will sort the field by Fargo Rate and split it in half.

Racking- We will be using Outsville Accu-Racks. The 9 Ball will be racked on the spot with the 2 Ball on the bottom. The 9 ball does not count on the break.

Races-
Under 32 Players- Upper Bracket will be using R6 Races on both sides and Lower Bracket will be using R5 Races on both sides.

Over 32 Players- Upper Bracket will be using R6 Races on the winners side and R5 Races on the one loss side and the Lower Bracket will be using R5 Races on the winners side and R4 Races on the one loss side.

- Stop 4 of our 2022 season will be held on March 12th at Branford Cue and Brew in Branford CT!

The New England 9 Ball Series would like to announce some changes for the 2022 season:

-We will now be accepting cash. However, cash payments or any other types of payments not made through the newengland9ballseries.com website will be subject to a $10 processing fee. The tour has already paid for a webpage that automatically processes payments and enters the player information into the event. Any transactions not done through the webpage require manual data entry. This not only takes someone's time to do but increases the likelihood of a mistake being made due to human error. We do want to offer options for players who absolutely cannot use the webpage but please understand that there will be an additional cost.

-The preferred method for payouts is virtual but, as stated above, limited cash payouts can be made with a processing fee to cover the cost of a human having to manually record the accounting. The tournament director will not carry enough cash to an event to cover all the payouts so we ask that this option be reserved only for players that have no way to receive a virtual payment. As a reminder, due to government regulations all payouts over $599 require an accompanying 1099 tax form.

-Nine ball combinations will no longer result in a win. Any nine balls made early will be spotted and the shooter will continue shooting.

-All two-day events will have a 9am start time if the host location allows. It is preferable to have Saturday matches end before the rooms get crowded and loud, and this also allows the room to rent out all of their tables to higher-paying customers.

We try to make the tour experience as good as possible for all parties involved. If anyone has any questions or suggestions that will help us achieve this goal, please let us know.
