Healthy Hair is possible and it doesn’t happen overnight!
Get a healthy routine going and stick to it. The key is consistency ✨
If you incorporate these few simple steps into your regimen you will begin to see great results:
• Deep Condition your hair EVERY time you shampoo. Allow conditioner to sit for 30 minutes and place hair under a plastic cap to trap the heat.
• Moisturize your strands! Dry hair breaks and splits.
• Cleanse your Scalp! A clean scalp is a healthy scalp. Hair cannot grow from a scalp that is dirty, inflamed or loaded with product build up.
• Eliminate heat styling/ direct heat as much as possible. Remember the outermost layer of a hair strand is the cuticle. It is designed to protect the hair and Heat can ultimately damage the cuticle and reduce its protection. Which leads to loss of moisture and damaged strands.
•Low Manipulation Styling: Simple! Try to wear styles that don’t require you to comb, brush, or style your hair daily but rather weekly. This also includes not pulling your hair into tight/tension causing styles.
• Trim your ends! At least every 8-12 weeks but definitely as needed. Our ends are the oldest part of our hair and require trimming in order for our hair to Thrive and Grow!
