Anyone need a very good dog with a big heart??

Meet Johnny. He is currently at the SPCA in Titusville. He’s mostly black lab. He’s got a little white patch on his chest. Johnny gets along great with people and cats. Not much of a barker. Affectionate, sweet tempered, but does pull on the leash.

Does he like other dogs? No. And…..that’s why he’s there. He didn’t get along with his owner’s boyfriend’s dog. One of the two had to go, and unfortunately Johnny lost to the boyfriend’s mutt.

I dogsat (is that a word?) Johnny off and on for over a year. He is such a sweet boy! Never gave me any trouble, never had an accident, and always was happy to see me. I looked forward to hanging out with this big goofball whenever his owner had to leave town.

If I could have a dog, I wouldn’t be making this post. He’d be in my backyard right now. Unfortunately, my daughter is allergic to dogs, so I can’t give him the forever home he deserves.

I’m hoping someone can take one of my favorite former clients home from Titusville’s SPCA. He’s not the perfect pup, but he comes pretty close.

If anyone has any questions about Johnny, I’ll answer them as best as I can. You’re not going to find a better dog anywhere else in Brevard. ❤️❤️❤️

Although this page is currently kind of dormant (chemo treatments will force you to dial it back for a bit), rest assured that when it's all over, we've got big plans for 2023.

Just FYI, I've only got one slot left on Memorial Day weekend for morning/evening drop in visits for pets! I'm already booked for overnight pet sitting from May 26-30.

I'll be on vacation myself from June 4-14, but *for now* there's still availability on other summer days.
