Melrose Church of the Nazarene

We are a community of believers on a journey to be like Jesus in our relationships and in impacting our world.

Today was family Sunday as our children joined us for the message portion of our service ; it was from Ephesians 1:7 about the redemption and forgiveness we receive through the blood of Jesus Christ. Our Facebook Live video has been edited to include a short video that was viewed during the service.

Spring Conference 2022: Discipleship in a Covid World 02/12/2022

Save the date and join us for our NED SDMI Conference on March 26th!

Our invitation to make disciples has not changed - Jesus invites us to go into all the world, making disciples of all nations! However, the world in which we make disciples has been forever changed by our experience in and through this pandemic. Join us for a day of encouragement, resourcing, equipping, and training as we wrestle together with what it means to make disciples in a COVID world.

We are thrilled to have Michael A. Mata, NTS Professor of Urban Studies and Theology, and Associate Pastor at Los Angeles First Church of the Nazarene as our keynote speaker for our main sessions. Attendees can choose up to 3 breakout workshop sessions. In addition we will offer opportunities for connecting, processing, and praying together with others on our district. More information on breakouts will be available soon. We hope you will make plans to join us for this event and invite others to come with you!

This event is for everyone, pastors, SDMI presidents, laity, Sunday school teachers, anyone interested in spending a day in community conversation around discipleship.

Lunch and snacks are included in the cost of registration. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.

When: March 26th 10a-4p (doors open at 9 for check-in, coffee, fellowship)

Where: Lowell Church of the Nazarene, 1195 Varnum Ave, Lowell MA

Although roads were slick this morning, we are thankful for those who were able to join us via Zoom. Our discussion focused on prayer, and Moses interceding on behalf of the Israelites in Exodus 32:1-14. It was a blessed time with great conversation!
