The Beethoven Society of Melrose
The Beethoven Society of Melrose was formed in 1927 by a group of professional musicians wishing to perform for each other.
Today, the society provides monthly concerts open to the public featuring performances of classical, jazz, music theatre and more. Lazar will be playing on a 1789 Vincenzo Panormo cello graciously loaned to him by Michael Hartery.

Mezzo-Soprano Eileen Christiansen accompanied by Daniel Wyneken will be performing sacred music with the theme of love featuring pieces by Brahms, Fauré, Duruflé, Bach, traditional hymns, and Gregorian chant.
Offering spirited renditions of the classics from many traditions will be Blue of a Kind! This harmonious men's a ca****la ensemble is sure to delight and entertain you!

The competition is open to all current high school seniors who have aspired to and accomplished an advanced command of a musical instrument or voice.
