Under the general direction of the Expansion Value Stream Manager, the Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring that the finished product conforms to the instructions provided in the work order. Specific responsibilities include:
· Start sewing machinery at the beginning of a shift and test it for proper functionality.
· Ensure that all materials and parts are available and gather prior to beginning work.
· Address any problems found while sewing.
· Draw threads through needles and adjust the machine.
· Position materials under needles to sew them together.
· Replace and re thread needles.
· Sew missing stitches or replacement parts in accordance with repair instructions provided.
· Observe operations to detect any faults or defects.

· Attach parts as specified in the work order.
· Ensure that the finished product conforms to the instructions provided in the work order.
· Ensure that excess material or threads are cut away from the finished product.
· Trim finished bags using scissors and cutters.
· Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning and oiling the machine.

Minimal Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
· Ability to work cooperatively with others both within the department and externally.
· Technical knowledge of the processes and equipment with 3-5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment.

-Operate Pos System
-Assist guest with purchases and taking orders
-Prepare and serve food as needed
-Maintain a clean work area throughout the day
-Help in set up and teardown of different equipment
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Uniform is required; hair net must be worn; must follow and have knowledge of health codes and requirements.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required; ability to maintain confidentiality; no smoking or eating in the work area.
