Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis Porter Goodwill Unit

Stepping outside their comfort zone, our club members participated in a 'Taste Challenge" while blindfolded. They demonstrated bravery and excitement while identifying the 4 basic flavors: salty, bitter, sweet, and sour!

Reflecting on future goals and expectations club members became great team players, as they creatively participated in guessing what was on each other's "Flap Bucket List Book!"

Students around the world experienced a memory that will last forever, as they embraced the moon overlapping the sun through their special glasses. Porter Goodwill Pals gives their insight by designing paper-bag images of the eclipse!

Shout Out to the Porter Goodwill Unit 10-12 Yrs Basketball Team!!! They had a great season learning the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork, and working together to accomplish a goal.

Thanksgiving is about spending time with family, friends, and enjoying the best meal of the year!!! Thanks to the Porter Goodwill Board for making this happen for Club Members and Staff. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, fellowship, and shared reasons to be grateful. Thanks again for all you do!!!

Common Thread Challenge: Club members work in groups finding something they all have in common. After each group has come up with their common element, they work together to create a banner that represents it.

Great futures are possible with BGC. We celebrate a world of future possibilities by learning more about career paths and plantings seeds for success.

Project Learn reinforces the academic enrichment and school engagement of young people during the time they spend at the Club.
