Happy Retirement Jack Naquin!

It is with great sadness and greater gratitude that we say goodbye and celebrate the journey of our friend and colleague, Jack Naquin.

For 50 years, Jack has worked in the HVAC industry, sharing his immense knowledge and spirit with everyone he works with. For 22 of those years, he worked with us between Mills Wilson George and Etairos HVAC as a Sales Engineer in Little Rock.

Jack was an amazing asset as a
manufacturer representative, specializing in the Raypak and Taco lines. Dedicated to finding the right product to fit his customers' needs, he was reliable, dependable, and prided himself on being available to support his customers even after the sale was complete.

We thank him for his years of service and wish him much happiness and laughter in his retirement, especially cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines as they compete in baseball and cheer competitions.

Farewell to David Fiveash!

It's with a mix of emotions that we announce the retirement of our dear friend and colleague, David Fiveash, after an incredible 39 years in the HVAC industry! Between Mills Wilson George and Etairos HVAC, David has graced our team for the past 9 years, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a dedication to keeping Memphis cool (and warm!).

David is not just a technician, though - he's a mentor, a problem-solver, and most importantly, a friendly face who always went above and beyond for our customers. Your contributions to Etairos HVAC have been deeply appreciated. Your commitment and positive attitude have left a lasting impression on all of us and will be missed!

As you embark on this exciting new chapter, we wish you all the very best in your retirement. May it be filled with relaxation, adventure, and everything that brings you joy. From the entire Etairos HVAC family, thank you for everything!

Our April Employee Spotlight features Robbie Cash, one of our newest sales engineers in Memphis! Previously at HESCO Mid South, a plumbing and HVAC representative agency in Memphis, he will be working with our sales team on specialized commercial plumbing, boiler and water heater projects.

The three fan laws are critical formulas that help HVAC designers and technicians understand how airflow, static pressure, and horsepower change under various conditions in HVAC systems. These mathematical principles explain how airflow, static pressure, and horsepower are affected by changes in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Fan Law 1: CFM and RPM Relationship
Direct proportionality between CFM and RPM.
Adjusting RPM impacts airflow proportionally.
Example: A 10% RPM change results in a 10% CFM change.

Fan Law 2: Static Pressure and CFM Relationship
Total Static Pressure changes with the square of CFM.
Slight CFM increases lead to significant static pressure rises.
Example: A 10% CFM increase results in a 21% static pressure increase.

Fan Law 3: Horsepower and CFM Relationship
Horsepower required by the fan changes with the cube of CFM.
Even slight CFM increases demand significantly more horsepower.
Example: A 10% CFM increase demands a 33% horsepower increase.
