When they found out he was sick with cancer they were relieved to have caught it early, with a positive prognosis after treatment. Cabins are more secure and in a separate area away from the play yards so it truly is a space for dogs to decompress after a day of play. Our Cabins also provide the extra space for pups to have some of their own bedding or toys with them, allowing for the familiarity from home while boarding.

Bringing your pup to day care at Camp Bow Wow is a great way to fulfill the three” IZE” for your dog! 🐶
SOCIALIZE: Dogs are social animals and get enrichment from spending time with people and other dogs. At Camp, dogs have supervised play time with other dog-friendly pups to ensure they have positive and safe interactions.
EXERCISE: Regular exercise keeps your fur baby healthy, agile and limber. It can also help reduce or alleviate common behavior problems such as digging, excessive barking, chewing and hyperactivity.
IMMUNIZE: It is a requirement for all dogs at Camp to be up-to-date on their CORE and Bordetella vaccinations. Not only do vaccines protect your pup’s health, but you can also have peace of mind that the dogs they are playing with at Camp are up-to-date on their vaccines too.

Unfortunately, this happy pup was hit by a car and then left stranded by his family. After his accident, Tennessee suffered an injury to one of his back legs and was never the same. He had to get his leg amputated after being picked up by the Dyersburg Dyer County Humane Society. The shelter needed funding to help manage his pain but also to give him a better chance of adoption. That's when the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation® stepped in with a medical grant. Tennessee championed through surgery and can now run and play with other dogs. We're also happy to report that since his operation, Tennessee found his fur-ever home with a great family in Memphis! 💛
