In Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement, we visited three schools. We saw many needs, mainly school supplies and funding for teachers due to the recent cut in education. An estimated 400 teachers are to be cut from the schools within the settlement due to a lack of funds.

One school that stood out to us, was a primary school (equivalent to middle school in the US). Due to the number of students, there were not enough buildings to teach them all. Many had to take classes in tents which accumulate a lot of heat and blow away in the wind and rain.

These kids are eager to learn and understand education is a key for their future. We pray for provisions for all the schools in Bidi Bidi, and for the students, teachers, and administration.

Our team is at the airport and about to head back to the USA!! It’s been a wonderful 17 days touring and visiting partners across Uganda and Kenya. We can’t wait to keep filling you all in on our mission trip! More pics and videos to come!

Today is the day that we take off for Africa! We are heading to Uganda and Kenya for 17 days. Please keep our team and our partners in your prayers. We pray for journey mercies, health for our team, and to experience God on a deeper level.
