Haha! A little funny for those needing a way to get yours kids to clean their rooms.
"I just want to thank whoever posted about the mouse and black rice. I owe you big time. I'm having my house painted this week and I was sick of being mortified of my 18 yo sons room!
I am awful but I texted him and told him the painter just swore he saw a mouse and there’s droppings. He comes home and he was so upset and grosed out that he cleaned his room for four hours.
Leaves and texts me he is so sorry he will be mopping the floor in there and he will find it. If I wasn’t so happy and just got all my cups and spoons back I might feel a little guilty.
Oh and his sister is still cleanng her room because she doesn’t want it to come in her room next.😂🤣
Here’s a pic of my work- left it by the sand from his work boots and in the corner of the room and his closet.
I know I’m going to hell.😂

We are having a RUFF summer. We know everyone is in the same boat and we are so sorry to keep asking for help. BOTH air conditioners have broken at the house and we had to buy a complete new unit at our facility. We are already thousands in fixing them, replacing them and buying window/portable units to keep the animals cool. Our heat index is brutal and we are all suffering. We are blowing fuses and now a complete circuit line has quit. So next up will be an electrician. If you can help us financially, we need it! We are completely tapped out financially and can’t fix them until we can raise more money. No one takes payments! We need at least $1500 to get one unit up and running. Who knows what the rest will cost us. Please please help us get the ac’s back going for the dogs and cats.

Welcome to rescue. Someone was kind enough to toss this sweet baby out of a window of a moving car among others on Elmore Road in Bartlett. So far this is the only survivor. We are driving the rest of the road now to look for more. Pray for this little one please.
Update: just dropped the babies off at the Vet, only one alive. Lower jaw is separated, eye injury and other lacerations.
We need all the help we can get to save this baby and cremate the others. Please help us if you can and please share.
Update #2: The little baby passed away from its injuries; two broken back legs, internal injuries and those listed above. We will be paying for their cremation.
Thank you everyone.

"In Chandler, AZ, Doug is a loyal customer at Arby's restaurant. Actually, he's the most loyal customer they have there. Doug is a 97-year-old World War II veteran, and has long loved the famous roast beef sandwiches on which the chain has built its reputation. Doug comes in every single day to enjoy a meal with his favorite sandwich. He almost always orders a Swiss cheese filled roast beef slider and a Coke with no ice. All the staff members there have memorized that as his 'usual.'
After quite a while, one of the employees, Travis Coye, wanted to know more about this elderly man, and why he had such a fascination with the food they serve there. So he asked him why he keeps coming there; why that location? Doug replied, saying: 'This is the only place I can get a sandwich, or get anything else to eat, that doesn’t hurt my stomach.' Actually, it may be closer to the truth that he likes the sandwich so much he stopped looking for alternatives.
Doug lives in a nearby retirement home, but always makes sure to get his daily meal at Arby's. And he has his own favorite table where he enjoys it. The staff there treats him as much like family as possible, and staff members go out of their way to make him comfortable. Says the manager there, Christina Gamage: 'He comes in with a walker. As soon as we see him come to the doors, we try to grab the doors for him. He’s gone through a lot being a veteran, coming in, being in a retirement home, but he doesn’t have family.'
Doug is such a loyal customer, and a really good guy, that one day the staff pitched in and got him a $200 gift card. He thought at first they were joking, but it was definitely real, and Doug told them: 'Thank you. I never know if I’ll be here the next day, but thank you so much for this.' But what might be even more important than that... at least, more meaningful... is that many of the staffers gave Doug their phone numbers in case he needed anything. And they all offered to bring him his favorite meal to the retirement home in case he could not make it there.
Then, after Doug's story made national news, Arby's gave him another gift... free food for the rest of his life. Now he never has to worry about where his next meal is coming from, giving him more time to make more friendships."

At our last event, someone won the Pop’s Gift Card. However, yesterday I discovered the card had slipped through the envelope and was in our folder. Whoever won this gift card, if you could DM us so we can get it to you, we would greatly appreciate it.
Our Community Pet Pantry is built and now the drive to fill it starts! We have been so blessed to be able to get this back up and running for everyone. Please support the local Bartlett Pet Pantry and help us stock it!
ONE OF OUR BABIES HAS PASSED AWAY:
Updates below:
Five little puppies were found today on the side of the road in this kennel in the blazing heat. They have white gums and are struggling to overcome heat exhaustion, parasites, dehydration and malnourishment. We are not in a position financially to take this on, but one of our volunteers, Roger Morris, could not leave them out there to die. Thank goodness he found them when he did. Now we just have to pray they pull through.
If you can help us save them, please donate any way you can. Please share!

UPDATE 7/8/24 1:44 pm: Thank you to everyone that has donated to help us save these babies. Stumbling upon a wire kennel with skinny puppies in 90 degree temps is so difficult. You pray none are dead and then you realize how close they are. Three are eating and drinking some on their own. Two are having to be fed and enticed to do both. They are no where near out of the woods due to the parasites that can kill them and the lack of proper nutrition. All of the shelters are full, rescues are full and no one can find places for dogs. That being said, dumping them on a back road in a kennel without even water in these temps is a death sentence. They are lucky that Roger was driving around looking for a husky and stumbled upon them. Please keep donating and sharing!
UPDATE 7/9/24 5:06 am: Wow! Thank you again for the donations for these sweet babies! You are all showing how much five little abandoned puppies mean in this crazy world we live in. All five are still alive. They are all still being given fluids to assist their little bodies. They finally urinated! That is a huge accomplishment. Two are still requiring hand feeding and syringing of fluids most of the day, but they are lifting their heads some. Three are eating and drinking and starting to walk around. Still touch and go with the color of their gums, but every hour they keep fighting is an hour in their favor for survival.
To answer a few questions:
This was a road, tucked away where tires and trash bags are dumped frequently. They were sitting in a cage next to trash bags. No cameras are around. We don’t know who dumped them or when. It was so hot and they are so small, that it would have had to have been that day, because they would all be dead otherwise.
We have not named them yet. Everyone that knows me well, knows that I am somewhat superstitious. I have learned to not name a precarious animal until they are stable. It always backfires on me. So, please throw out names (we like to name a litter with a theme), and we will choose once we know they are more on solid ground.
We do not know what breed they are. We can guess, but they are just little mutts. Those are the best kind, in my opinion! We will get better pics in a day or so. We are doing what we can to stress them as little as possible.
In Memphis, the shelter decided that they would follow Best Friends’ practice of leaving animals on the streets for the community to deal with, unless they were aggressive or injured. That might work elsewhere, but not in a city this size that doesn’t enforce spay/neuter laws, does not enforce cruelty with more than a slap on the wrist and really offers very little in the way of education and resources. Rescues are who provides most of that when the funds are available. If we would give more than one year in jail for setting a dog on fire intentionally, then we might would also be able to prevent the rampant overbreeding by everyone. Spay and neuter your pets, please!!!!! Stop leaving animals to die on the streets!!!! These babies didn’t deserve any of what they are going through.
UPDATE 7/12/24 9:28 am:
The babies are all still alive. They have had tons of fluids, nutrical, panacur, antibiotics, dyne and so much more. Every day is a blessing that they are still here. The two weakest ones are still critical, but we are so hopeful. I added a few pics of them last night after their bedtime story. Please continue to help them if you can.
UPDATE 7/17/24 8:46 am:
Yesterday was a very hard day for our rescue and our volunteers, Roger and Ramona. One of our precious Littles did not survive. The weakest and smallest black and white little boy did not survive. He had a severe infection that was brutalizing his body. He was emaciated, weak, couldn’t eat or drink on his own and couldn’t stand on his own. This is what happened because some monster put them out on the side of the road in a crate to literally die a horrible death. Why? How can you just drive away knowing how hot it is and that they are so tiny? There is no excuse to tuck them far back on a road littered with trash bags and old tires as if they didn’t matter. They mattered to all of us! We are still trying to save the other four! Please pray for them!
Many of you know that our pet pantry building and all the donations were stolen. We have been so blessed that 901 Gives, Smith's Plumbing Services, A-Team Roofing and Homeway Construction and Restoration heard about what happened and jumped right in to help! This was all made possible because Dustin with Wally Hatchet's called and told them what happened! A village of amazing people are coming together to help those in need! We are going to have an even bigger pantry for those that need help for their animals. I can’t wait to show everyone the pictures as the day progresses. There will also be a drive to help us restock it in the coming weeks. Great things are happening!!!!
Hey everyone! We are looking for Fosters! Now is a great oppurtunity to give our babies a place to socialize and prepare for adoption! We have dogs of all sizes and they all have great temperaments! We will cover their food and any healthcare needed. Also, we even cover grooming if required (longhairs, etc).
This is an opportunity to try out having a dog yourself, or a companion for your loved ones already in your family. A major benefit, is that our babies will get the chance to be exposed to a variety of living arrangements, enabling them an even better chance at adoption to a wider pool of clientele.
Without Fosters, our ability to intake more animals is severely limited. Fostering also helps us find them “Forever Homes” faster, so they can join a family sooner!
Please DM us if you are interested or want more information.
If you decide you want to ultimately adopt them yourself, because they become family, you will have the first opportunity to adopt.
We need Fosters both in the South and New England.
Thank you so much to everyone for the Birthday wishes. It meant so much to me!
Who's a good gurl?!? Betty's been hangin' with the gang perfecting her zoomies with all her BFFs. She's been patiently waiting here in New England for her very own family FUREVER! We unfortunately have not had one dollar donated to help this family. I don’t know what else to do but to shut down our Good Samaritan Program. We have spayed and neutered 314 homeless animals, senior animals and animals belonging to people who find themselves in financial situations to date. We have done 37 emergency surgeries as well. I know times are hard on everyone, but vet prices, medicine and food have increased dramatically and we just cannot keep up without donations. They are how we survive. How we continue to do what we do. How we covered every single pet we have adopted out. Please consider donating so we won’t end up being the next rescue ahutting its doors forever.

Good Morning! I want to share a little story about a family we recently helped. We are certainly not in any position to spend money frivolously, but this was a desperate situation that we could not turn away from.
We met a family (2 adults, 3 kids, 2 adult dogs and 11 puppies) all living in ONE BEDROOM in a house they share with other family members. Times are very hard and they are doing the best they can to keep everyone safe. They reached out for urgent help. We found an immediate foster for the puppies and knew we had to get the other animals spayed and neutered as this was the third litter in a very short time. They absolutely could barely afford to feed their family and could not afford vet care.
Each one had some medical issues that had to be addressed along with getting them completely up to date on vaccines, blood panels, medically treated, flea treatment, antibiotics, heartworm tests, fecals, Proheart 12 injections, spayed and neutered. We want to thank Bells for fitting them in immediately and taking care of everything in one day.
The bill for this was $1914.91. This is a major hit for us and we need your help! Can you please donate whatever you can so we are able to help the next emergency that enters our doors? Anything will help us continue to be there for those that have no where else to turn.

One of our precious rescue babies has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Jack was loved by so many people, in our rescue, his groomer, friends and family just loved him. He got to enjoy so many adventurers after being adopted and we couldn’t thank them enough for loving him so much. He stole their hearts the night they met him and he immediately felt like he had been with them forever. This unconditional love is the best! We know Jack will watch over all of us and guide us to continue saving lives like him. We hope you have loads of fun sweet boy! Hugs from all of us to his family and friends that are heartbroken right now.
Thank you for sharing his adventures and pictures for all of us to love him a little more!
