Low overnight temperatures and a light rain made our roads more hazardous than yesterday. I caught all but one employee in time before they left for work to tell them to stay home. If you do decide to venture out in your car, dress warm as if you were going for a walk. You may have to.

Today we’re wrapping up some beautiful reproductions of early blueprints of an amazing Memphis downtown landmark the Sterrick Buliding. This beautiful building has it’s own Wikipedia page and if you haven’t seen the press coverage an amazing team of investors and developers has been assembled to bring it back. I’ve have a link in the bio to a recent Memphis Flyer about the memphians that have taken on this project. To them I say thank you for investing your time and efforts in our City!

One of possibly two quick turnarounds for late entries to tonight’s closing show for at . I especially love her work because of the detail and light hand that she uses when composing these watercolors. Also, because I have a “brown thumb “ it’s vicariously a garden.

MIRROR SALE!!!!! Starting today and for the summer we will be converting our upstairs in to a showroom for our mirrors. Starting today at 12:00 the space will be available to view framed mirrors as well as some beautiful frames that are ready for the mirror of your choice. Available hours will coincide with our pick up hours: Tuesday-Friday from 12-5. These completed are always marked down from our retail price and often 25% - 50% less. Let’s make a deal.

We are excited to have the work of in our showroom. He is a native of New Orleans and has been included in museum and private collections all over the world. He uses extensive lighting techniques that give his night time settings a dreamlike quality. This piece in my shop is customs framed with a deep beveled mat and museum glass and is available for sale.

Tomorrow night from 6-9 we will be hosting the paintings of Abbie Shoaf and the photo installations of our own Courtney Whitlow at our showroom at 632 South Perkins from 6-9. Come and join us for refreshments and see how Abbie and Courtney have transformed the space with their colorful work.

Adding more new mirrors to our showroom sale this week. This large segmented antiqued mirror panel is 48” x 66” with an aged gold panel edge. It has 34 separate pieces with some random 45 degree cuts. The smaller shaped top mirror has a deep green edge and measures 34” x 41”. Our showroom viewing hours are Wednesday-Friday from 1-5. It’s been a crazy year+ just keeping up with the amount of work we’ve been churning out. Somehow my guys and .4 have managed to squeeze out some new samples with new colors on some of our overlooked designs. We now have over 30 designs that are available in the size you need and in a range of over thirty finish choices. Our next step is photographing this collection. (Not on the warehouse steps.

This pair of mid-century antiqued mirrors are hot off the press. With a rugged old gold finish they are oriented just like they would hang on your wall. This design can be adjusted to fit your space. Thanks for making the frame happen with a recessed cleat to fit snug on the wall.

Wrapping this up tomorrow. Fun use of color for one of our adventurous clients. That’s our #1305 with French Blue and silver.

Besides the art and the mirrors we’ve been completing, we’ve also been getting our samples for our custom mirrors painted and organized. It has been a challenge. Thanks and .4 for pushing through the sheer quantity of this project. Our next step is to label and organize in collections for our Designer studio boxes.
