After attending @teamaflv leadership development conference UIFI, Aliya Lewis (Delta Tau-Morehead State) said, "UIFI showed me how issues in my community and campus can be improved, starting with my efforts. No matter my role, I can make a difference.”

emily cansler
Emily Cansler (Nu-Oklahoma State) has always known she wants to help people in need. The Muriel Johnstone graduate scholarship has been instrumental in her pursuit of a Physician’s Assistant master’s degree, and she can't wait to one day “pay it forward” and help another sister chasing her academic dreams. “Since beginning this program, I have realized that I am exactly where I need to be. When I graduate, I hope to become a family physician’s assistant that serves a rural Oklahoma community and specializes in women’s health, something that I have been passionate about for a long time. This scholarship directly helps not only me, but my future patients too.”

GG
Geraldine Guzman (Zeta Omicron-Wake Forest) says her foundation scholarship has “increased [her] confidence in [her] leadership abilities” and helped her find a balance between classes, her work-study program and extracurriculars. “Because of this scholarship,” she says, “I can continue my education at my dream university.” Read more about your impact on KDs like Geraldine on our annual report website, linked in bio.

Imagine Her Future
We are thrilled to announce that the foundation’s Imagine Her Future scholarship campaign has raised $4,624,649 for Kappa Delta sisters across the country! 125 years ago, our founders imagined a future where women would lead with confidence and take action in the world. Imagine Her Future is an effort we’ve been working toward for several years. The foundation board dreamed of a day when collegians and alumnae wouldn’t have to choose between paying for school and membership in our sisterhood. To everyone who gave to the campaign, THANK YOU!
