It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Founder and Owner, John Williams. Mr. Williams was a very generous man, who always had a smile on his face. John worked at the University of Alabama Bookstore, where he learned the campus bookstore business, and then came to Memphis and built the Tiger Bookstore in 1964. He is survived by His Wife Shirley, His three daughters Kristy, Kim and Katie, multiple grand children and great grand children.
