Behind San’s Child Inc. Is the legacy of Sandra Marie Hunt. Today, our mom, Sandra, would have been 70 years old. We honor her memory by “Helping Girls Be Great!” through our nonprofit organization, San’s Child Inc.

Often when I start workig with a group of girls, I get silence or rolling eyes or lack of participation. I’m always up for a challenge, so I keep pushing. Yesterday, the girls kept asking me was I married. I was confused by the question, but I answered. When they left and I started straightening up the classroom, I saw this on the board.

My Girl was chosen as the Nonprofit Spotlight at the recent Women in Higher Education in Tennessee .tn luncheon. Our executive director, Jennifer Christian was present to talk about the mission and goals of My Girl Nonprofit Organization. We would like to thank Taura Jefferson, executive director for for choosing My Girl and always supporting. 💜

Last month had the opportunity to conduct a workshop for the Manassas High School and First Assembly Christian School (FACS) basketball players. Bullying and Basketball don’t mix. The young ladies were given practical strategies to handle bullying.

We’re so excited for our sessions with ! Our first session was explosive!!

I’m in my “Do It Scared” phase of life! I’m just going to have to do some things while shaking in my boots. If you want different, you gotta do and be different!!
