Eat Memphis

We are geared towards providing foods to the homeless, low income families, disaster areas, and persons in need free of charge. One goal for Eat Memphis was to supply meals to 1000 people by December 25, 2011, but the ultimate goal is to one day feed one million. An entrée can include the following, but not limited: fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meats, and beverages. For assistance we

ask of the supporters, volunteers, donation contributors, sponsors, and community partners reach out to those in need of help. Eat Memphis delightfully ask that you consider donating, volunteering, and/or becoming a sponsor! Our contact information is in the website's need help and/or "contact" section. Evangel Temple 878 Mississippi Boulavard Memphis, TN 38126 December 23, 2011
12PM- 3PM 300 people (Eat Medmphis met the goal by feeding 200 homeless and 100 low income children for Christmas, also ABC News 24 did coverage and a story on "Eat Memphis" check out "news" section)

The Renaissance 1558 Madison Avenue Memphis, Tn 38118 January 1, 2012 12PM- 3PM 400 people (Eat Memphis fed 100 homeless and needy on New Years. This date was also the launch of Eat Memphis' inicitive to provide healthier more nutritious meals to those in need called "Eat Healthy Memphis")

Memphis Union Mission 383 Poplar Avenue Memphis, Tn 38103 fed breakfast to Homeless at Union Mission Shelter February 12, 2012 12PM- 3PM (Eat Memphis partnership with Southwest Community College, students recieve extra credit toward their related courses.)
