We’re all smiles here at RiverArtsFest as we take in all the wonderful happenings in Memphis during ARTSweek! The hardest part of the week is deciding how to fit it all in! We’re so proud to be part of Memphis’s incredible, thriving arts community and one of grantees.
This ARTSweek, let us paint you a picture of our gratitude—by numbers! Thanks and all of you who came out to show our fine and preforming artists all the love this past October. Because of you, we’ve been voted among the top 20 Fine Arts Festivals in the U.S. as voted on by artists (industry pub Sunshine Magazine). It’s a true recognition of our volunteers’ dedication and our creative Memphis culture.
There’s still time to pick up that perfect piece and a pronto pup. Plus Tennessee Mass Choir takes the festival stage and takes the Art Partners stage. All good for your soul.
We’re so proud to showcase Masterpiece Mile an initiative supported by the Recovery Grant. These hand painted canvases feature works by local artists and school students. There are 12 on display. Have you found them all? They certainly make our festival even more colorful. Thanks for donating the tent sides.
If you want to see the magic in action, we’ve got it here at the festival. Stop by our artist at work booths, and watch local artist demo their craft. Plus their original works are on sale. Thanks for sporting an artist today. Join us at the festival. Happening on Riverside Dr. today and tomorrow, Oct. 21 & 22.
