Another Associate Week in the books! Over 14,000 enthusiastic attendees, including Associates, shareholders, and media gathered in Fayetteville, Arkansas to celebrate some of the Associates biggest accomplishments.

The week was filled with gratitude and inspiring words from and the entire Walmart executive team. Attendees were also treated to spectacular entertainment featuring performances from celebrities and talented associates alike.

We are immensely proud of our collaboration with the Walmart Event Solutions team and commend the hard work and dedication of all LEO’s that played a part in crafting this extraordinary experience!

Today marked the unveiling of Le Bonheur Children's Hospital monumental expansion which introduced a cutting-edge hybrid cardiac catheterization lab, complete with an attached MRI suite, and an additional 14 beds in their award-winning NICU.

Throughout our longstanding relationship with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, LEO Events has been entrusted with their vision. For this momentous occasion, we illuminated their journey by ensuring every detail of the day paid homage to this significant milestone, from the storytelling signage tracing the hospital's history to the commemorative tote bags and the photo worthy ribbon-cutting ceremony.

It is a privilege to support our friends as they expand their horizons and celebrate their achievements while providing expert critical care for even more children in a 5-state region. We ❤️ Le Bonheur.

Today, LEO Events celebrates our phenomenal Admin team! They embody in every way imaginable. We’d like to recognize this amazing team with awards, for Terre Gorham, our Fountain of Knowledge Award, whose longevity and expertise keep us grounded in history, for Olisa Horn, the Smooth Operator Award, effortlessly steering our daily operations with grace. From an archery session to trolley rides to a competitive trivia night, the LEO team got to play as hard as we work. Thank you to the Biltmore for being excellent hosts for our 13th Annual ROAR conference in beautiful Asheville, NC.
One of our favorite sessions was led by Leadership Development Consultant and Program Manager Joseph Wilson on how to have Crucial Conversations. Our LEOs also came together to propose new initiatives for the company and share ideas.
Our time in Asheville reached its pinnacle with our LEO Pride award ceremony. Throughout the year, employees nominate fellow LEOs to recognize their achievements and efforts in the workplace. We were honored to join Memphis River Parks Partnership in producing the long-awaited Grand Opening of Tom Lee Park! There’s NO better way to celebrate the 901 community than performances by local musicians, hearing from local leaders, and a ribbon cutting by the mighty Mississippi!

Alongside longtime partner Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Ops carried out Healthier 901 Fest - a day full of fitness classes, cooking demos by famed local Chef Kelly English and Chef Chris Beavers of Kroger, music, and more, inspiring Memphians to take charge of their health and create change in their community. Women's Equality Day commemorates the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1920, a monumental step that ensured citizens' right to vote wouldn't be denied based on gender.

To mark this day, we're excited to announce our heartfelt donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). In June, over 15,000 Walmart Associates journeyed to Fayetteville, AR for Walmart's Associates Week. We kicked off the week with Walmart International Meeting (hosting associates from 19 countries) and Walmart's U.S. Meeting simultaneously, followed by Sam's Club Associates Meeting, and ending the day with a rockin' 80's concert featuring Billy Idol and Salt-N-Pepa.

Perfectly summed up by host Kevin Hart, "It's not a meeting, it's a moment." Live at Bud Walton Arena and simulcast to hundreds of thousands of viewers worldwide, Walmart Associates' Celebration encouraged, informed, and wow-ed attendees, with appearances from Shania Twain, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Chris Hemsworth, and Pitbull to name a few. We are so thrilled Walmart Event Solutions Team trusted our over 300 full-time LEOs, freelancers, and contractors on-site to execute this massive celebration.

Happy Pride Month! As the month comes to a close, we want to recognize LEO Meeting Planner and LGBT Meeting Professionals Association Committee Member, Kris Towers, who has been working with the LGBT MPA to create a resource to guide event companies in producing and planning their events and ensuring they can hold events in safe and inclusive spaces. Thank you to Kris and the LGBT MPA for ensuring that these events are able to continue safely and successfully! You are all seen & loved!
