MLGW expects to lift the precautionary boil water advisory next week. Pressure in the water system must rebuild before that happens. Temperatures on Sunday are expected to rise above freezing. MLGW asks customers to stop dripping water once temperatures are above freezing (sometime Sunday, Jan. 21). That will help increase the system's water pressure. Plan Ahead for Freezing Weather
Temperatures are expected to drop, according to the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee. Make sure you and your home are ready. Make an emergency kit - it should include bottled water, batteries, a battery-powered or crank radio, first aid supplies and more. Visit ready.gov/kit for a complete list of emergency preparedness items.
