Numerous local artists whose works are available at La Maison will be present to discuss their art. Then, we will serve Mimosas all day Saturday (11th) and Sunday (12th) in honor of Mother’s Day.

Retrotherapy’s new collection on vintage Italian mosaic guitars will be THIS Saturday !! Stop in during the in Clarksdale, MS for first dibs! I’ll have a few pins ( will look great on your hat or lapel) , earrings, bracelets, and more.

Italian mosaics are an art form dating back to the late 18th century, first found in architecture , that flourished into a thriving industry in Italy . Italy’s majestic buildings of the late 18th century were filled with beautiful mosaic scenes. The most notable of them, St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, features over 100,000 square meters of mosaic . Many artists followed suit and began creating beautiful micro mosaic jewelry as souvenirs for the wealthy who visited Italy .

These original vintage micro mosaic pieces were re-created from brooches by Nancy Barry of Retrotherapy Jewelry Designs.

Enjoy a piece of history and wear it knowing that each piece is truly one of a kind and unique!
