We are thrilled that the Scosha Salon at the Hub Hotel is now open! Thank you to and Shawn at Pavo Salon as well as all the staff that have volunteered for this month to help launch this tremendous act of kindness for our guest! We can't wait to share with you the transformations and heartfelt smiles from our guest!

Health/wellness kits, and lunch was served to our many guests in need!

Andre Cabrere's Journey: Patience and Resilience Focus, patience, and resilience can lead to positive outcomes. Andre's journey is a great example of this as well as that of our staff. Special thanks to Hub Hotel Program Lead and Client Pathway Coordinator Bailey Amos on diligently securing Andre's brith certificate from Germany. It was an important step in Andre's journey out of homelessness!

Hub + Pavo Partnership Announcement
Sometimes healing can start with the smallest things, things that make you feel good about yourself, like a new hairstyle or a manicure. We are thrilled that Pavo Salon has stepped in to help us create a soothing, pampering salon for our guests! Pavo is a much-loved Aveda salon with two locations in Memphis. Their mission is people-centric and focused on the experience as much as the end result. Through their commitment to our community and uplifting spirits, we feel this space will be a true gift to our guests.

Special thanks to Chris Newson and Mariano Madrigal for visiting the Hub and sharing the time with with our neighbors to cut and groom hair! The transformations are beautiful!

Whew! A beautiful and productive day on Work Local today / Great and Focused Crew. Ms Serrie rode along on a perfect example of a Work Local Shift… McCain in Westwood is a frequent dumping spot and today we had our work cut out for us and a neighbor stopped by to praise the CREW!

Hub Hair Cuts
Yesterday was nothing but amazing. Local barber Raymond Henderson came out to cut some of our guys hair. They were so happy to get a fresh cut. We also received a great donation of 50 hygiene bags!

Healthcare for the Homeless at the Hub today!

Altar'd State Mission Monday Hub Support!
Today the Hub received a nice financial donation from the Altar'd State store in Memphis as a part of their Mission Mondays campaign to support charitable organizations in the city! During Mission Mondays, 10% of the Altar'd State Memphis store's net proceeds went directly to the Hub! We'd also like to give a big Thank You to the store leader Lydia Brown for reaching out and partnering with the Hub for this wonderful opportunity! Support like this makes it possible for us to build the regions first barrier-free shelter for women and to continue to provide innovative solutions for our clients to help them exit homelessness. We had an amazing New Years Eve celebration at the Hub Hotel! Invitations went out to all the guest and we celebrated the countdown in the Hub Hotel Lounge!

Our mission is to connect individuals with the resources they need to begin their journey out of homelessness.
