Katelyn's story is one of incredible strength and resilience. After leaving an abusive relationship and losing custody of her kids, she found solace at the Hospitality Hub where she finally had a safe place to stay. With the help of supportive case counselors and on-premise residential care specialists, Katelyn was able to heal and rebuild her life. Today, Katelyn is living independently for the first time and working hard to bring her kids home.
We all deserve a home to call our own. Together, we can make safe, secure housing a reality for so many more people like Katelyn. ❤️

Did you know? The Hub was founded in 2007, making 2023 our Sweet Sixteenth! Over the past sixteen years, we are proud to have helped thousands of individuals exit homelessness. Every month, we provide shelter to 70 women and children at our Hub Hotel. To help us celebrate this special milestone, please consider making a monthly donation of $16 (or more!). Recurring gifts create a foundation of support to ensure that we can continue to create kindness for the guest we serve. Become a monthly donor today: http://hospitalityhub.org/monthly/.
At the Hub, we believe that providing a transitional housing program is crucial to the future growth and success of young adults aged 18-24 experiencing homelessness. Without stable housing, young adults experiencing homelessness face enormous challenges. They may struggle to find consistent employment, access healthcare, or even meet their basic needs. This can create a cycle of poverty and instability that can be difficult to break without support. But rapid rehousing housing solutions such as our Hub Hall program offers a lifeline to those in need. By providing short-term rental assistance and supportive services, we can help young adults move quickly into stable housing. This not only helps them secure a safe place to live, but it also gives them the stability they need to focus on building their futures.

There were lots of handsome haircuts yesterday at the Hub Plaza! Special thanks to Darius and Michael from Supreme Cuts for the great cuts for our guest!
Homelessness is a complex issue that can be caused by a combination of factors, including financial hardship, lack of social support, substance abuse, mental health issues, and medical conditions. Medical conditions can happen to anyone, and they can lead to high medical bills, loss of income, and other financial hardships that can make it difficult for people to maintain stable housing and employment.
Jeffery's story is a powerful reminder that anyone can become homeless, and we must work together to provide support and resources to those in need. By understanding the factors that lead to homelessness and the role of medical conditions, we can take steps to prevent and alleviate this pressing issue.

Did you know? Every month, Street Outreach drives 200 miles around Shelby County to offer services to individuals staying in parks, underpasses, and abandoned buildings to connect them with the comprehensive care and the stabilizing resources they need to exit homelessness.
Our Street Outreach team first met Kevin in the deep forests of the park where he was living. He was used to being alone and ran from us! Nevertheless, our Street Outreach team persisted in hiking into the forest to continue to build trust with Kevin. A few months later, he was finally ready to accept services, and our team got right to work. We helped him get his birth certificate and ID, apply for food stamps, and advocate for housing. After several months, he was finally approved for housing and now has a place to call his own.
By becoming a monthly donor, you help fuel our Street Outreach team as they support individuals like Kevin to take the right steps to get back on their feet. Make a monthly gift now: hospitalityhub.org/monthly/
