Making History! Memphis College Prep soars to Level 5 on TVAAS! Grateful to our outstanding team, committed parents, and relentless students who defied the odds and achieved greatness. We are beyond proud of the work being done in these students' lives and the South Memphis Community! Here's to a triumphant start to our 2023-2024 academic journey!
On #GivingTuesday, November 30, 2021, we will launch our “Warmth Drive” giving campaign. Combining two of our favorite holiday gifts for our amazing scholars: a warm coat and a good book. Families across the Midsouth are facing winter like never. The rising prices of groceries, utilities, and automotive gas hits them the most. While we cannot tackle all the needs of our MCPFAMILY&U, we will try to offer each child the gift of warmth this holiday season. We want to offer each child the opportunity to take home a winter coat in their respective size and color choice along with a winter survival kit which would include two pairs of gloves (yes, kids lose them), a hat, a grade-appropriate, TN standards-aligned reading pack and lots of fun treats to get them motivated to curl up with a good book during the holiday season. We could think of no better way to prepare our kids for Winter Break. Along with some very special friends of the school, we will present our scholars with their items on December 16 at a special community meeting.
