Our Professional Development Days were amazing! We mixed work with some pleasure because we believe our staff deserves it all!

We held a sip & paint to get those creative juices flowing and allow our staff to interact outside of learning sessions. We can't wait to show you what else we did!

As we gear up for a new academic year, we have to thank Nurse Perry for ensuring that we are prepared. Nurse Perry gave us a refresher on our CPR training so that we are equipped in the event of an emergency.

Thank you so much for taking the time to come teach us. We enjoyed you as always.

We love family referrals at Memphis College Prep! If you know of a child who needs a school home, refer them to MCP. If the family you refer completes an application by September 16th and the scholar begins school on or before September 18th, you will receive one uniform shirt for your scholar.

Throwback Thursday!

A heartfelt thank you to Oteka Technologies for the incredible Christmas toy drive last December. Our scholars and their families were thrilled with the toys they received, and we are so grateful for this wonderful partnership.

MCP recently suffered a tremendous loss in the passing of our beloved student, Makayah Mayes. Makayah was a special student and a joy to us all. She will be truly missed. Please keep her family, friends, and our school community in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

If any of our scholar families or staff would like to share memories of Makayah, please do so in the comments below. We will make sure her family sees the love you are showing them in an attempt to help bring a smile to their faces.

Coach Hutson has been an integral part of our success here at MCP and we wanted to honor him with this much deserved award. Thank you for all you do to make an impact on the lives of our scholars and school as a whole.

Summer school at MCP! Our scholars are sharpening their skills and getting ready for the 2024-2025 academic year. But it's not all work and no play—we still make time for fun with recess throughout the school day!

Their creativity and dedication truly shone through, and we couldn't be prouder of the incredible job they did!

We took a spin on the traditional Donuts with Dads event and transformed it into an interactive day of family fun! In addition to tasty treats, our scholars, their dads, and granddads enjoyed games, speeches, and even a sneaker raffle!

We are thankful for all of the fathers and father figure who share in our mission of being !

We are beyond thankful to our friends at Deloitte for partnering with MCP for their Impact Day. Their team did some touch-up painting, gave our landscaping a facelift, cleaned iPads, and assembled supply bags.

These enhancements will truly make a huge impact on the quality of day-to-day exercises for our scholars. Thank you for all that you do to make this world a better place to live and connect with each other.
