Just wrapped up the Castalia Baptist Chrich HBCU College Tour, an unforgettable 3-day experience with 25 promising high school students! We visited some of the most historic and inspiring HBCUs in Alabama and Georgia, including Morehouse, Spelman, CAU, Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Miles, Stillman, and Tuskegee. It was incredible to see these young minds explore the possibilities ahead and witness the rich history and culture at these great institutions.

The visit to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery added an extra layer of reflection, showing us the importance of understanding our past while preparing for the future. Proud to witness these students light up with dreams of college life and beyond, and we thank God for the opportunity to serve in this way.

Castalia Baptist Church is accepting applications for its annual HBCU college tour. The church will guide more than 40 high school students on a three-day tour of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across Alabama and Georgia from October 8-10, 2024. This year's tour will include visits to eight prestigious institutions as part of Castalia's continuing commitment to expose students to higher education opportunities.

The tour is open to students in grades 9-12 from any school district, regardless of religious affiliation, and the itinerary includes the following schools:

Alabama A&M University – Huntsville, AL
Miles College – Fairfield, AL
Talladega College – Talladega, AL
Alabama State University – Montgomery, AL
Tuskegee University – Tuskegee, AL
Morehouse College – Atlanta, GA
Spelman College – Atlanta, GA
Clark Atlanta University – Atlanta, GA

Additionally, the group will visit the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL.
