Theatre Education/Teaching Artist Associate β Resident Company
A Professional Resident Theatre is seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our Theatre Education Department. This role involves assisting with classes, camps, in-school, and touring programs. Responsibilities include creating study guides, developing audience and community engagement initiatives, coordinating programming alongside staff, and managing databases. Additional opportunities include teaching classes and camps, performing in 1-2 TYA/touring productions, and Assistant Directing TYA, touring, or youth productions. A passion for working with youth is essential, and having a car is preferred. Compensation is $300/week plus housing. An Education or Arts degree (or equivalent experience) is required.

Kim steps into the shoes of Heidi Schreck, who, as a teenager, funded her college education by winning Constitutional debate competitions nationwide. In honor of National Arts in Education Week, we in the Education Department wanted to make a point to congratulate all of our students who grow through our classes and programs and move forward to do incredible work in our community as well.
We here at Playhouse on the Square are thrilled to support all of our students who come through our programming. Watching young performers grow and rise in confidence through their time with us is the most rewarding part of what we do here.
