Además, habrá una sorpresa especial para los asistentes... la directora de casting para un próximo episodio del programa de NBC, YOUNG ROCK, protagonizado por Dwayne Johnson, me contactó y ella asistirá a la Fiesta y contratará. Ella está buscando a 55-60 actores pagados. La escena tiene lugar en un restaurante de lujo en Miami y todo el elenco es latinoamericano. Adjunto un folleto para su información. Si responde, escriba "Miami" en el asunto del correo electrónico, para que el director de casting sepa sobre qué está escribiendo. Es agradable ver que se busca a hispanos locales para representarlos en una transmisión nacional.

Plus there is a special extra surprise for attendees....the casting director for an upcoming episode on NBC's hottest show YOUNG ROCK, starring Dwayne Johnson contacted me and she will attend the Fiesta and will be hiring. She is looking for looking for 55-60 paid background actors. The scene takes place at a high-end restaurant in Miami, and the entire cast is Latin American. I am attaching a flyer for your information. If you respond to it, please write “Miami” in the e-mail subject line, so the casting director will know what you are writing about. It is nice to see local Hispanics being sought out for representation for a national broadcast.

We had a wonderful getaway for our anniversary. Carmen and I were in Holly Springs, Mississippi earlier today for a private tour of the Ida B. Wells Museum. She was a Pioneer in civil rights activism and actually got arrested for sitting in a white person's seat on a train to Memphis in the late eighteen hundreds --a hundred years before Rosa Parks did the same thing on a bus! Then, we went to Oxford, Mississippi and had a lovely time looking at books at Square Books, a historic bookstore on the Town Square next to the courthouse. And to cap it all off, we had a wonderful dinner at an avant-garde restaurant in Oxford, Mississippi named Ravine!
