Our residents enjoyed a peaceful afternoon of coloring. Coloring is not only a relaxing and creative outlet, but it has also been shown to improve focus and boost mood for seniors, especially those suffering from memory loss. It was wonderful to see everyone engaged, expressing themselves through color, and finding a sense of calm and joy in the process. 🎨🧠💛

Our residents enjoyed a mouthwatering Chicken Marsala with jasmine rice, fresh green onions, and tender asparagus. The evening began with a warming Cream of Carrot soup, setting the perfect tone for a comforting meal. To finish, Chef Marisol wowed us with a beautifully presented Coconut Cake—a delightful treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. Chef Marisol’s exceptional culinary skills continue to bring joy and flavor to our community.

To close out Assisted Living Appreciation Week, we hosted a special Italian dinner for our residents. The evening featured Chicken Alfredo Penne, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Garden Salad, and Garlic Bread. It was a wonderful way to celebrate and show our appreciation for our amazing community. Day 4 of National Assisted Living Week was a creative and relaxing one with our Paint and Sip event! 🎨🍷 Residents enjoyed an afternoon of painting while sipping on refreshing drinks, unleashing their inner artists, and sharing laughter with friends. It was the perfect way to unwind and express creativity as part of our ongoing celebrations.

Day 4 of National Assisted Living Week at Sunny Rose Glen was a sweet (and spicy!) treat for our amazing staff! We celebrated with delicious fruit cups topped with a tangy twist of Tajin and a drizzle of chamoy, adding a fun burst of flavor to the day. It was the perfect way to cool off and show appreciation to the incredible team that keeps our community thriving.

Day 3 of National Assisted Living Week at Sunny Rose Glen was an exciting milestone for our community as we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Resident Garden! 🌱 Residents gathered to kick off the creation of this beautiful garden space, where they’ll soon be able to enjoy nature, plant flowers, and grow their herbs. It was a wonderful day of new beginnings and hands-on fun.

National Assisted Living Week at Sunny Rose Glen!

Yesterday we had a blast hosting a “Car Wash” for our residents! While the vehicles stayed parked, our dedicated staff rolled up their sleeves to deep clean walkers and wheelchairs, making sure our residents’ mobility aids were shining bright. Here’s to keeping our wheels rolling smoothly and celebrating the wonderful people who make our senior living community so special! 💧🧼❤️
