We strive to make a positive impact on our future workforce to keep the pipeline of skilled workers full and American manufacturing alive. We're only getting started. Since January, the AWT Foundation has reached over 18,000 people, and this is just the beginning! Our mission to promote rewarding careers in manufacturing is gaining incredible momentum, thanks to our dedicated community of manufacturers, educators, and supporters.

We are thrilled to announce that the Alliance for Working Together (AWT) Foundation has received $500,000 in capital funds as part of the stateโs $4.2 billion biennial capital bill! This funding will support the AWT Northeast Ohio Transformation Training Center in Mentor, Ohio.

This afternoon, Ohio Treasurer Sprague came to visit the AWT Transformation Training Center! We are grateful for his support and commitment to advancing manufacturing in our state!
Last week, Lake Erie College's Teacher Bootcamp stopped at the AWT Training Center! Teachers got to learn more about the manufacturing careers and opportunities available for their students, and even got some hands-on experiences with our manual machines!

We were so excited to partner with different Ashtabula County schools for their career exploration events. During these events, students immersed themselves in hands-on STEM activities, discovering the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, and math. This initiative, spread across five schools, is all about sparking curiosity and showcasing the exciting world of manufacturing!
