We might be ending the work week but it’s never too late to think about how to make some changes or start over next week. These are some options that work for Nanci that help her feel rejuvenated and tackle the week! 💫
Sharing some ways we take care of our mental health here at Orenda ✨ Sarah loves to travel and explore new cultures. These are some recent clips from her time in Morocco recently 🇲🇦
Keep sharing what “works” for you!
What is it going to look like? Maybe your values guide you forward, maybe it’s a long term goal you’ve been working on, or maybe it’s simply hope. Sometimes it’s just about putting one foot in front of the other to make it through.
Mental health encompasses so much but these are some ideas to take care of yourself when you’re feeling stretched thin, have low motivation, or just need extra support. Sometimes you may need more time to connect with yourself while other times you may need to connect with loved ones ✨☮️
What do you do to refill your cup?

I love all things vintage and history so when I found old barns that were converted into office space, I knew it was the right fit for Orenda. Then it was all bibbidi-bobbidi-boo to make it authentically ours! ❤️
One of my favorite things about this space is that it’s tucked away and surrounded by trees so occasionally we get a family of deer that walk through! And getting to take a mindful walk on the trail behind the office is another plus 🙌
Dawn has some availability opening up this month! Reach out to schedule!
Dawn is now accepting clients. Call or email today to see if it’s a good fit!

When people often think intimacy, they think s*x but there are several other ways to experience intimacy. Check out the six types and some examples.
Maybe set a goal to practice at least one that you haven’t given enough attention to recently.
*Adapted from book, “I Want This To Work”
Did you know that there is a reason people suggest a “no contact rule” after a breakup?
Every time you see someone you’re still attracted to, one of two things will happen- either high levels of dopamine and a related hormone, norepinephrine, are released. These chemicals make us giddy, energetic, and euphoric. But it doesn’t last. As soon as the “supply” is gone, there is a crash. This means you’ll feel worse after feeling the high.
OR we see something devastating, and we will feel incredibly low. This means we felt bad and now after being in contact we feel even worse.
In the past, people were able to take enough time and space after a breakup to allow their bodies to rebalance and to start to self soothe. However, with the ability to contact and view people at our fingertips, we have more options for creating a cycle of connecting with someone when we actually need space.
If you’re trying to move forward, I know it’s so so hard, but please try to avoid looking up your ex online until you’ve had some space.

You can absolutely and should move away from this mentality. This often leads to and perpetuates disordered eating and eating disorders.
Journal prompts: How does this mentality impact me? What about my children? What would shifting the way I talk about food look like? What would my life look like if I had food freedom?
Some stats from
Eating disorders affect at least 9% of the population worldwide.
If not for you, maybe for the kids:
42% of 1st-3rd grade girls want to be thinner.
81% of 10 year old children are afraid of being fat.
46% of 9-11 year-olds are “sometimes” or “very often” on diets.
35-57% of adolescent girls engage in crash dieting, fasting, self-induced vomiting, diet pills, or laxatives.
In a college campus survey, 91% of the women admitted to controlling their weight through dieting.
My personal social media feed has been flooded with diet programs and before/after photos lately. I’ll be posting statistics, reflections, and journal prompts this week for education and awareness as well as support for folks who may want to improve their relationship with food and/or their body! 💜
Less resolutions, more intentions ✨
Happy Holidays! ✨
