Kareena lives in Lannon, WI and recently graduated as a Dental Hygienist from WCTC. With a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Kareena takes pride in helping her patients achieve optimal dental hygiene and making others smile😀. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors🌲, and traveling to new places. She has always had a love for caring for others and is very excited to be a part of the LUX team!

💫Our gorgeous patient Jennifer was looking for a brighter, whiter smile but she had been unsuccessful with whitening in the past. We were excited to be able to offer her a different and better solution in the form of Kor Whitening! Kor is a more intensive deep bleaching that really treats difficult to whiten teeth, such as more grey or deep yellow stains.

💫Following the whitening protocol, we replaced some older discolored bonding and wow, her smile says it all!! She is now several shades brighter and feels more confident than ever. The entire process took about 8 weeks and while there is a bit of upkeep and maintenance for the patient, it is truly a wonderful whitening treatment. 🦷😄

✨Allie came to Lux last year while still in braces wanting to have a plan to replace her missing upper left tooth and see options to fix her small upper right tooth. She was also concerned with the look of her gum tissue. Once her braces were removed and through careful planning, we did gum augmentation, a veneer for one tooth and a dental implant for her missing tooth! We managed to finish everything just before her wedding and she couldn’t have looked more stunning!✨

✨Today we celebrate our two year anniversary at Lux and are filled with such gratitude and excitement for all that has happened these past two years. We have grown as a team, adding three new members to the Lux crew, seen many new patients and all of our familiar ones too! ✨Oftentimes patients come to Lux with the hope of improving their smile and while our patient desired that as well, he also wanted to improve his overall oral health. He struggled with breathing well and suffered from sleep disorders, in addition to retained baby teeth and missing permanent teeth. Part of the cause was an issue with the development of his upper and lower jaws, as they were deficient in their growth and he knew that part of his treatment plan would be surgery.✨

🦷He started his journey trying to figure out a way to breathe better which eventually led him to find us at Lux, where we will able to quarterback his care. Using Digital Smile Design technology and a collaborative team approach, we were able to develop a treatment plan for him that included sleep therapy, orthodontics, upper and lower jaw surgery, dental implant placement, a gum lift, porcelain veneers, and implant crowns. This treatment did not happen overnight but the results speak for themselves! We are so pleased, and Jeff couldn’t be happier! He is the poster child when we say we want patients to “Smile More”

✨It's that time of year when a little sparkle to your smile goes a long way! These April showers and grey days can get long but a little whitening session at Lux can help brighten up your month. This patient desired a whiter smile and she got it!😀

🦷 Using one of our three in office whitening systems, specifically Opalesence Boost, we were able to lift her two shades! She was thrilled and so were we. With this particular whitening system, patients will continue to whiten at home for the next 48 hours and we also send Opalesence trays home with you for continued whitening if you so desire. 💫

🤩 Like most things beauty related, whitening in not a one time deal. It does take some maintenance on your end to keep your teeth pearly white! Whether you choose to maintain your smile at home with our take home products or come in for yearly in office treatments, whitening does need some follow up care outside of Lux. She had some existing bonding that was staining and chipping and wanted a simple way to change things up. Our special technique of composite veneers allowed her to have a beautiful smile in one quick visit with minimal to no drilling on her teeth. With the power of digital dentistry, we were able to create a customized smile design just for her and then easily transfer that design to her teeth so that what we planned, we executed perfectly!✨

It's time for another round of Team Tuesday! This week we are featuring none other than Chunky Monkey (aka Chunk) our mascot extraordinaire! Chunk loves hanging with the team at the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and has no problem being the comedic relief. His favorite part of the day is treat time, which is basically all day long!
